No, you would need 36v battery.

Controller Firmware 48v ->36v can be reflashed (!!but you need the 36v battery!!)

That is what i saw on the display.. I will do more tests today, I will let you know later.

.. fully charged 36v battery is about 42v... so 42*20... 840W - so it was probably not 850W peak.. something aroud 840-850W (i have DC241 display and it is hard to read it on the sun ;) )

Ok, so we did about 25km today and I must say that the bike is much more powerful! I love it! Max peak was really about 840W! The feeling is now very similar to Yamaha that I use to have!
What is really strange, is that I had almost the same battery consumption as my wife with stock 15A firmware ( the same bike, the same M500, even though my wife is 30kg lighter than me). When we got home I had 78% battery left, my wife had 79% of battery left! That is pretty cool. I was very afraid that the consumption will be increased significantly, but no!
Tomorrow I will have to upgrade my wife's bike as she was angry that she couldn't chase me 😂.

Correction - that math is not correct. You need to distract voltage sag cca 3V to 4V and for 15A controller ovetshooting to 20A is too much.

So it is more like 38.5x18 = 693W

Anyway there exist 36V and 17A firmware for M500.

I've just broken the handlebar strap on my DP241 display. I think its a common break and someway back in one of the threads was a repair for it, can anyone remember where or what it was. Thanks

Attaching M600 firmware 43V 25A - up to 1300W with 48V battery!!!

->Be careful it is overheating, when u hold full throttle for few mins.
->Throttle has 1s delay when u not pedalling (Bafang what are you doing there!? Was it a purpose? )
->At 20% it shut down and then when I power on motor again it was showing only 1%. (Could be either motor went hard cut off or my battery BMS triped - with no load I measured 39V ) - which is good, as you would drain battery till the end.

A question about m500 firmware: what is the difference between the two 10A firmware(2015.5 VS 2050.6). The first one is stock and feels kind of sluggish.. How does the other one compare to it? Currently using 12A and I like the snappiness of it(comparing to 13a) but I would like level1 to be more power efficient - sometimes doing really long rides...

2050.6 ismore powerful and smooth. Last time i used M500 the best for me is 10A 2050.6, now i'm using M510.

So Dado.... if I have M510 43v, and I can run with my 48V battery?

So guys, what's your favourite m500 48v firmware for trail riding? I think I've liked the 12a best out of all due to a good power ramp up(gives power earlier). The only issue I find is that even in PAS1 It's consuming way too much power, especially if you're going over 25-30km/h. Went to try the 2050 which seems more economical but lacks the initial oomph... Any suggestions here?

i prefer the 12a for my long riding in mountain. perfect for me if i'm alone, a little bit to powerful in 1 (of 5) level if i ride with friends non AE. +- 60% consumed for +- 30km +- 1500 D+, mostly in level 1 and 2.
What you whould mean by "It's consuming way too much power, especially if you're going over 25-30km/h" ? you have over pass the 25 km/h limit (not me) ? in this case it is normal if you consume more, no ?

hello, my name is julien I have a FANTIC ISSMO 45km / h with engine bafang m600 configure with the counter bafang two modes of assisstance are available 'road' and 'hill', it is a valley they have completely bridle since it uses a battery 630w, I would like access to the engineer level in order to unlock the speed limit, can you explain me + in detail with python? Thank you

You can download the BESST Tool from there, you then need to contact them to obtain an ID/Password :

They can give you a basic password. But each ID/Password links to their system and has different abilities and can change different things.

I advise to stop repeating same question and go to this thread from page1. then read... you will find

Or check this, step by step

Script is here

I'm asking for advice, I have a Besst tool, everything works fine for me, but I can't increase the speed but only decrease it. Is this caused by the Besst tool itself, or is it just a bug in the Python login?

Same with me with python script. Theres some region restriction and can set only 25kmh.

You can buy K1 CAN monitor:

You need to use old BEST program=1.2.18 works to change limit.

hello, thank you for your answer and sorry for the duplicate, however if I ask the question it is that one of the steps is failing me, I have never manipulated the codes, suddenly I followed the glass procedure nevertheless when I run the script, there are two lines of writing and .. nothing more and I enter any identifiers in BESST and nothing .. I installed simpleson etc via ms dos command, however, I am precisely independent in the electric but my dealer access limits me to 25km/h while I also sell 45km/h... so I need you guys please, you're the only ones working on it... help me please
