Based on your name, I presume your KSL is already mulleted :- ) ? If not, then mullet is good part of possible solution.
Other is, how long have you had each? Every new bike feels much better. (novelty, freshly setup suspension, fresh tyres,...).
With that said, it will always be 20kg plushy linear tractor.

Nothing ridiculous about running KSL in 27.5. Get at least 180mm fork, ideally even 190 and you're set.
Poppy & Playful is quite often about suspension setup, rarely does linkage make such a dramatic difference people think. Coil with fast rebound and suddenly everything is poppy..

With that said, having multiple similar, overlapping bikes won't make you feel happier in my opinion. I intentionally keep only pump-track bike alongside my KSL. No overlap between them at all. No misery of choice & comparison for me :- )

Already mullet 👍🏼

Fitted shorter cranks, that's one more step towards being more like the patrol!

Interesting you mention suspension, both running fox X2, maybe I need to compare how they are set up. I always go off base settings then adjust to how I feel comfortable riding familiar trails

I don't guarantee all these numbers, but this is configuration I used before I converted mine S3. It should (if I input all correctly), feature 170mm ZEB fork, HighBB setting and default neutral middle angle on front.

With that said, with Mullet, BB Drop is kinda meaningless value since it's offset from each axle differently (hence why some websites quote BB-Drop per Axle).
It rides perfectly though for me. I use stock cranks, and I am very mediocre rider and I never strike pedal (and I use thick Deity Tmacs).
The table below is from bike-stats - Alles zum Thema Fahrrad Geometrie

thats similar to what i calculated, i should be quite similar to the banshee titan mullet setup in low settings i ride right now. i even should be able to run the 210mm oneup again without reducing the drop (long legs 4tw)

can someone confirm the ~340mm bb height in real life measurings?

Has anyone else find out that stock Roval alloy rims are really really soft?
I've bend mine twice in 8 months + had a huge dent which is not holding up air anymore so I had to buy a new one today. I am switching to DT Swiss 471.

I added cush to the back. Already had a dent at 2m of riding
Impressive! How much do you weigh? What tire pressure are you running at? If you are using Cushcore and still getting dents in your rims, either you are hitting square edge rocks really hard with your suspension not setup well or those wheels were made out of cheese. Which wheels were you using before you switched? Any issues with them? I upgraded my KSL to DT Swiss EX511 rims.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I JUST put it cush. The first 2 months was no cush and that's how I got the dent. I tend to run lower pressures. Low 20s high teens. But that's because I was used to always having cushcore. I got the KSL and didn't get around to putting in the inserts until just now but I still ran the low pressures. Lol. Bad idea.

Still running the stock cheese wheels

The Roval carbon wheels are very good. Been running them for 12 years now and not one issue but very mixed reviews on the alloy ones.
Currently have Traverse SL on the LSL which are decent and spin pretty well. I have newest Control SL on the Epic Evo, which are just insane. I’m 86kg. I’ve ridden a few other carbon wheel brands but prefer the Rovals for feel, and especially weight on the Control SL’s. I imagine they’d probably work just fine on the LSL too as I’d be just inside the weight limit for them. Not cheap though but I got a good deal.

Just went into Mission Control to tweak my bike and it suggested switching to the Specialized App.
Just wondering what the latest is? Does it do everything that MC does?

Yes, the Specialized App is the new one. I think you can have and use them both simultaneously in order to get used to the new one.

I don't dent rims. I managed to put 3 dents on the rear stock Traverse on my gen3 Levo.
Built up a wheelset w/XM481 rims. Problem solved.

Same here on my KSL Comp, on my second outing (yeah only 2...), had to upgrade (Duke Fury Star wheelset) and put CushCore.

Anyone have successfully used an another sensor magnet than the original ? Stock rotor bends with the Hope hubs...

I've the Pro 5 ones, I think the magnet is putting too much pressure (The screws are tightened with a torque wrench). It's almost not noticeable until the wheel turns. While turning, rotor is twisting.
I've put washers between magnet and rotor, it's way better but not 100% good. Before brake upgrade (most likely T4 V4), i would like to find a solution without DIY.

Please could i ask if you have a 1.1 or 1.2 motor, please can you log into mission control app and tell me the motor number. Most bothered about the first two numbers. Mine is 12 at the start of the motor.

Tha ks in advance for any help with this.

Buy a magnet and gorilla glue off ebay. Glue the magnet to the disc - worked for me when I upgraded to Galfer CL discs and the Spesh magnet didn't fit. Also it is very discrete, you can hardly see it

Sorry thats not what im asking. I want to know the motor numbers in the app. Its a long number. When i go in mine says 12######### what im wanting to know is if this starting number is different on the 1.1 motor and 1.2 motor.

I would like a "plug and play" solution, but I'll make a note of it.
