Anyone modded a van for bike transport love mine found I use it more than the car nowadays

I've got a 5er estate but I want a Merc Vito Brabus Sport X. Somewhat short of the £15K + required to buy one though.

Problem with the Mercs is they are rust buckets - be very careful if looking at an older one (i am a builder so well versed in van chat!)

Old Vivaro I use love it on modding the back out at mo fitting single seat carpet lights etc small fridge just had windows done to rear made a massive difference

Yeah, I know what to look out for. Trouble is, I need an auto and want 200bhp. Not many options all of a sudden apart from nearly new.

You cant really tell from the photo, but ive put a false floor in the van, tools it below and the bike gets pride of place on top. It saves me emptying all my stuff out when im off riding.

We are new to the MTB scene but will be lugging them around in my Vito also to track days. Currently upgrading the Leisure battery and invertor to charge on the go.
Vito 116 Sport remapped for 200bhp

Still ongoing project mine but it’s getting there feel safer with the bike in van rather than on the roof of my car especially when on long trips and stopping for food etc

Has anyone considered the smaller Nissan NV200 for conversion and using for bike weekends? Also they are launching ready made camper versions in Spain with an eVersion too - New Nissan NV300 and NV200 campervan range includes an EV

Unfortunately I've only got a Citroen Nemo, and the front wheel has to come out to get it in...... Other than that they go on a carrier on the towball.
Nippy and managed 62mpg ?
