Yesterday's BLEvo smart power results:

I have been riding with a group of normal MTB riders and adjusted the ECO and TRAIL smart settings which I shared within this thread:

This time I deselected in Smart settings "Smart HR Active" and have set Smart Power to 230 watt (via the RC you can set it higher of lower during the ride) and adjusted ECO from 1% to 20%.

The result after a 1 hour and 53 minute ride for 34,98 km with 331hm was a consumption of 2,72Wh/km or 95Wh in total. With other words the theoretical range would be 184km and 1742hm. (but not sure if I could keep delivering the same power over that distance) I ride a Levo 2019 Comp with the 500Wh battery, Eddy Current Front and Rear, and weigh almost 100kg.

Long rides are possible also with the 500Wh battery but you need to limit the motor power and add some more rider power. ;)

I was out for a 7 day biking trip in the Austrian and Italien alps and back home today. I enjoyed the bike, the app and the mountains. Every thing was fine. To avoid any problems I gave BLevo the online access per firewall. All Maps downloaded offline via Wifi.
Back Home I will remove mobile access for the next trips in order to check if the problem ist reproduceable.
Due to Android settings BLevo used 40.07 MB mobile Data in August.
The bike is MY18, SW X.23, buy June 19.

An idea what the problem in 2.667 could be:
With my Firewall I can configure three conditions: access allowed, access forbidden, ask for access. For new Apps I normally set "ask for access", so I did for BLevo too. Normally an App with mobile data request is hanging until I grant the access. In this way I have control which Apps try to use mobile data. May be BLevo runs fine when there is no SIM or access is denied, but cannot handle the hanging, until access is granted. Unfortunately I did not see the FW request in that situation, the Bike Monitor used full screen, I saw it later, when I stopped/restarted the App.

Hi, I wonder if anyone could offer some advice. I’ve rode 2700miles in the last 12months on my 2018 Kenevo, using cm9 with eco 22 trial 38 turbo 80. I found it gave good power vs battery life. However I have just snapped the belt in my motor. Just been changed by Berkshire. Now have a x23 firmware so I cannot use my old settings. BLEvo now displays a different set of optionsAny ideas on an equivalent using the PP and assistance settings to give me the same feel.

This may have been covered before and I apologies in advance if it has but can someone please tell me when you look at the battery monitor chard down the bottom it says kilometres and real kilometres what is the difference between the two figures?

Strava changed. The free version no longer has heart rate, cadence, and power displays. Have to pay $60 a year to get that now.

I noticed that Garmin Connect has all of that. Maybe Blevo should have an option to upload to Garmin Connect?

With firmware x23 you can use eco 22 trial 38 turbo 80 with PP 44/80/100.. more or less the PP should be the double of the assistance %.
But if you use the Smart Power, the PP should be always 100% for each level

It depends of the fake wheel size. The real km are calculated based on the fake wheel size and the real wheel size.

You can upload the activity in Garmin Connect importing the GPX file, but you will not have all the information..
In order to do an automatic upload into Garmin Connect, I have to check how to do..

Thanks Paolo,
Will those setting give similar feel and battery life as the x22 running cm9

I have blevo connected to my strava account but noticed that even thou Blevo says its upoaded them they are not appearing in Strava.
Is there a way to delete and re setup strava in Blevo to see if that fixes it?

Yes, you can remove the authentication and re-authenticate again...
If it not work, try to change the password in Strava.. and repeat the operation..

just tried removing strava authorisation and re adding it.
click upload to strava and get ' strava upload ride completed , response : your activity is still being processed'

Now I have just tried changing my strava password, deleted blevo authentication.
Re added blevo to strava and still no updated Strava.
I have gone to my bike option in Blevo, used arrows to display the ride, scrolled to bottom and clicked upload to strava. Doing it this way has not given me any option to give ride a name. Is that why it won't work?

Also just tried uploading the gpu file as cannot get the upload to work. When I try to import the gpu into strata I get
  • Unrecognized file type.

Just did a new ride and it worked, just won't upload ride from the other day.
I have just uploaded the gpx from another program I had running on another device and that imported fine.
Blevo must have had a bad day on that ride. :)

This should be ok! Check Strava if you see your ride.

One additional hint, I had troubles with uploading a week ago. It seems strange characters like for example “ë & â etc.” can give strange failures too. By just using normal characters as ride title the issue was resolved.

Yes it is, just search for.............BLEvo ;)

Without joking, have fun with BLEvo and in case of any questions, just let us know...
I Searching in the App Store doesn't find it. But I used the link from Blevo facebook and got it, not sure I want it now though :) I was really after something useful on the Garmin GPS rather than the iPhone.

Sorry, I don’t understand completely... Did you want to run BLEvo on a Garmin GPS?

In this case it will not work. BLEvo for android and ios is designed to run on a phone and will eliminate the usage of a Garmin. BLEvo will offer many additional features specifically related to Levo/Kenevo like smart power next to the standard features of a Garmin.

Yep I see that but would rather not run the phone on the bike TBH. Cheers

I understand but even without a phone on the bars, BLEvo could make sense. You could use smart power and log your rides for example when just running the application on a phone which is for example in your bag and not on the handle bars.

Has someone managed to get the heart rate from Apple Watch working? I’ve tried all kinds of things and running the latest versions in all the devices, but the heart rate shown is always the same 89 even though the watch shows a constantly changing heart rate.

@Stumpy do you have any suggestions? It seams that you are the only one able to use Apple Watch with BLEvo...:unsure::unsure:

The few times I have used BLEvo while riding together with Apple Watch and a iPhone XS Max no problem at all, good pulse indication during entire ride.

You are only using the Apple Watch for measuring the heart rate (no HR belts etc) and it have worked just recently with the latest watchOS and Blevo versions?

I’m not sure about versions but last time was a couple of months ago, I will check it out next time I go riding if it still works.

Great, thanks! Would be nice to get it working. In my understanding you can check the HR from the Blevo app even without going riding or next to the bike. On top of the Bike Monitor view the HR is shown next to the heart and thumbs up emoji. I also have the constant 89 there.
