Cube one77 2025

XLC’s have been mentioned, not so nice or pricey as hope or pinnd but good and cheap enough for testing. I reverted to original cranks, short ones felt so weird pedalling.

Finally I’ve received my One77 and I’ve already completely disassembled it! I’m going to customize it with the parts from my previous bike…

Unfortunately, the stem height I like doesn’t allow me to use the stock top cap, so I modified a regular one.

There’s a cable with a connector at the front that I don’t recognize— is it for plugging in a light? I wrapped it up and hid it inside the frame.

I’d like to know if it’s possible to remove the Abus lock cylinder that holds the battery so I don’t have to depend on a key. I’d rather use an Allen key or something similar… has anyone done this?

This week I hope to finish the assembly and test it out.

Hi there, if you want the bike to look/function better the only part you need is Acros 32.52.107R1 AM. I’ve just done this modification and also removed the light cable, which I’ll never use! Only £15 / €12 so not crazy!

I did change the compression ring too to the aluminium model, but that was unnecessary, but I didn't know what parts I needed to clean up the headset. Integrated is the worst, but this is much better.

You've removed the head angle part of the stem?
What is the HA now without it?

No. The angle adjust part of the headset are the cups that seat in the frame headtube - still present and correct!

All I did was remove that top cover monstrosity and the plastic frame that holds the light cable plug, these parts:

You swap these two parts for the lower profile £15 part Acros 32.52.107R1 AM.

You can still adjust the headset/headtube cups.

I would say no.

The replacement cap I referenced has two locating pins for the compression ring that sits on the top bearing.

The likelihood is that the Nukeproof headset has different bearing so they won't seat in the frame cups either.

At £45 for the NP headset it's not worth trying, the £15 mod I've done is pretty clean and works perfectly.

I just finished installing the Shimano Di2 XT yesterday, but I got the version with the motor cable. Now I can see the gear on the display, and all I have to do is wait for the eShift update.

Kiox 400c installed!

I had trouble doing it myself and needed to take the bike to my LBS so they could hook it up to some Bosch diagnostic software.
After that was done the Flow App would not connect back to the bike.
All that needed to be done was delete the app and download it again.
When I logged in had to put the bike in Bluetooth Pairing mode (hold down the on/off button for 3 secs).
I was then promoted to select the Kiox 400c from a list.
It connected and then it was all done.

Nice. I’m still waiting for my bracket, hopefully not long now. It’s what the bikes missing.

Hi , I have just got a great deal on the 177 800 race version of this bike . I couldn’t get the slx version in the size I wanted , has anyone on here upgraded both shock and fork and wants to sell on their fox suspension ?

While I was at the bike shop, I was asking about the 26 model year while looking to add to the mix. I was told that the light version will be 21 kilos which is impressive.

I'm holding onto mine for when my upgraded suspension needs a service or warranty (as is the case right now).

But honestly, if you are thinking of spending more money, get fox performance or RS select+/ultimate stuff. The suspension on the SLX is ok if you don't want to spend anything more, but it is the entry level fox stuff and there is a difference going to mid or top level stuff.

Fitting a coil to my bike has transformed it. The DHX might not be the most expensive thing but jeez it’s like a magic carpet now, can only imagine what it would be like with a top of the line shock on it. Bikes been rattle free since I put those motor bolts in.

Same here, I’m also holding on to the original suspension if/when something goes south. But instead of RS or Fox I opted for DVO suspension. Zero regrets, though no coil in the shock but in the fork.

Hey folks! Quick report about SLX bike and 1 month of usage.
What I did:
- 0 - day service of the fork and the shock;
- Tubeless installation;
- installed new grips;
- installed DMR Vaults;
- Tightened the suspension bolts with thread lock and appropriate momentum.

Results:
- suspension was quite dry without enough oil;
- tubeless was set up without any issues;
- Creaking sounds magically disappeared.

After that I took part in a week bike camp, had bad weather and was riding some quite rough trails.
Bike is very stable and quite agile, it doesn't have any problems with turning, jumps , steeps. It survives drops quite well.
No new sounds after a week of abuse.

What is need to be improved:
- I would like to put a wider handlebar on it;
- It definitely need AVS motor guard.

I don't think that it requires shorter cranks, stock ones are doing their job quite well.

Definitely worth every cent spent on it.

My bike developed a noticeable play in the top mount shock bolt (pulling up on the seat and touching the top shock bolt you can feel the play). The shop thinks it may be the frame, but waiting for the more senior mechanic to analyse the issue.
Could it be the bushings of the Fox Float X?
Anyone had this problem?

Well I've had no rattling, creaking or noise from my bike in 5 rides now... its epic that i can finally enjoy it. The 38 factory and the DHX coil has made this bike a monster on the downhills. Got the 400c working now as well and im finally enjoying the riding instead of wondering what thats noise etc...

Did anyone find a diagram with all the bearing sizes and the assembly order? My rear bearing is quite crunchy, I'd like to find a diagram before replacing it so I know the exact size.
