it's 12mm for -5, could be 10mm for +5 as your raising the bike slightly when it moves forward, i set up 25% rider sag both ends & For me on fast, flat, mild steep it noticibly lost front end grip, even bike park steep it wasn't as planted. BUT... This is just my experience... i'm not one for geeking on measurements but i knew the bike had lost grip over that 2 Deg, Nothing stopping you trying both set ups, easy enough to knock out/in

That is pretty sweet "mess" in the background by the way. I'm not sure that adding 15mm slackens by 2 deg, the maths just doesn't stack up (if you excuse the pun). I reckon about 0.4deg per 10mm of fork length.
This was calculated for my Firebird 29:

i'v honestly not got a clue re all the numbers, Alls i know is after -5 install the bike felt high and lost grip at speed in the front, This led me to check the HA, it measured 61,62 with -5 cup, 63,64 without. But Forget all the Numbers the Main thing is The bike Steers well. Holds a line when its rough. Attached is her sat high on the cup...

i removed the -5 and went back to standard, For me this works well
 
They should make a 200/200 frame With the Bosch race motor!

Sadly, my RS180 arrived 2-weeks ago and hasn’t been out of the box yet as I’m still waiting on I9 to build a EN350 wheelset that seemed like a good idea after a few scotch’s…hopefully the color choices/lacing pattern for the spokes doesn’t end up looking silly 🤪🤦🏻‍♂️

Rest of the parts are in and I can’t wait to get this thing built! Current build list includes:

Zeb 180mm & Super Double Deluxe Ultimate in the Rear
Maven Silver with 200mm discs
XO Transmission
Reverb Post
Yoshi ENDH Stem & Pedals
e13 Cranks and Chainring

Hopefully it’s only another week for the wheelset… 🙏🏻

Did your frameset come with a UDH?
 
No, it did not include a UDH. You don't need one with the XO Transmission.
Thanks, my box had a hole in the bottom and I wanted be sure that nothing had escaped as the render showed a UDH.

In retrospect, yeah it was kind of a pointless question since I don’t need it. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I made a NBD post on a different forum yesterday, and a commenter said "the bike looks heavy", so I thought I'd give a first ride impression. (Before you ask, I measured it at 53.7lbs/24.4kg with pedals). For a full powered, long travel (180mm) ebike, my first ride impression is 1). WOW! and 2) This thing feels surprisingly lively and playful. It did not feel heavy to me at all. Probably no surprise to any of you on this Crestline Forum.

Anyone running a fox 40? I put one on and immediately felt weird. Went back to the 38. Just curious if anyone is loving the big squish life? To me the bike feels alive with the 38. I have a kenevo on 29ers and fox 40 and it feels good. This bike is amazing though!

That 200mm/40 should only be 10mm higher front end than a 180/38 so .4⁰ slacker head and seat angle and 3mm higher crank axle. Id take the added stiffness and 20mm as long as the turning radius wasnt messing with me
 
I am running boxxers and the turning radius is a bit annoying on occasions but I can live with it. I have never tried 180 38s but I am keen to compare but not willing to pay the price of experimentation so I will have to live with the verdict from the interweb🤣
 
I tried a dh38 on mine, it made it dead, lifeless and the turning circle meant it was an immediate no.
Have an intend flash now, wouldn't bother with a dual crown ever again.
 
Ok that's one against a duel crown. Pretty emphatic no that one. Personally reasonably happy with boxxers but the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence
 
Yeah the steering was a real bummer, I could probably cope with the other negatives.
Just try all the things on your bike is my recommendation 🙂
 
Running 200mm 38mm Boxxers on mine. Absolutely epic, best suspension performance and tracking ever. Steering restriction has made me a much better rider as I'm looking for high lines on entry. Now I never hit the steering lock.
You can count on one hand the number of dual crown certified eBikes, so don't miss out on this superpower 😁
New Boxxer is also a lot better than old one, it has great mid stroke support.
As for playfulness, it is no surprise that running a lot of sag on a heavy hitting well damped 200mm fork will make the bike planted. I would suggest trying a reach reduction at the same time, then you have more authority to move your weight around on the bike to trade stability for playfulness.

What boxxers? The current gen or the older ones? The older ones with +10 crowns, giving 56mm offset had a pretty poor steering lock on an ebike with a fat downtube, obviously the 0mm crowns had even less.
The 40 with a +18mm crown giving 52mm offset has a ton more steering lock compared to the boxxer.
Ive had both on a kenevo, I spent a few years trying to make the boxxers good, but out the box the fox feels so much better.
Never looked at the newer boxxers so I dont know how they are configured.

Yeah. Got the older boxxers with the 56. I am hanging out for a Pinion long travel bike. Hopefully a Zerode so not too keen to experiment with a new set of forks just yet....but maybe
