I bought a second battery for both my ebikes, a Merida e160 (Shimano) and a Cube stereo hybrid 160 (Bosch smart system) and both were fine and didn't need pairing
The Shimano battery (504wh) i bought new and the Bosch (750wh) i bought second hand
Hope this helps
In really muddy conditions I wear ex army surplus Gortex over trousers over a thin base layer , drop them in a carrier bag after the ride a jet was them when home.
However I have just ordered some Decathlon Rockrider water resistant trousers after reading some good reviews.
So look forward to...
Yes my battery cover also fell off
I glued the screw thread insert back in the plastic lock body
I also lost my battery cover as it fell off while on the bike rack so I also now use a Velcro strap as it wasn't easy to get hold of a new one
Not the best design 😕
I have a 2022 Cube action team 160 and it rattled like mad from almost new.
I tried all the fixes suggested on here like packing behind the battery but nothing seemed to work
Eventually like you say it was the rear shock which I sent to Silverfish and was repaired under warranty and they were...
I also noticed the price of Muc off seems to have gone through the roof so I decided on a change of brand
After a quick Google of best cleaners I noticed Oxford mint got good write ups as a motorcycle cleaner so I thought I'd give it a try as I ride motorbikes as well.
It seems as good just...
I use my Jackery explorer 1000 occasionally to charge my bike and it appears to take the same amount of time as using the mains .
One thing to note tho if you are considering buying one is capacity, my Jackery is 1000wh and my bike battery is 750wh but for every 10% charge it takes 10% out of...
Yes I lost mine from my 2022 Cube 160.
It fell off while on the back of the car , we eventually went back and found it later but it had been run over several times so needed replacing
They're not easy to get hold of, I had to wait a couple of weeks for the cover and a few months for a new...
Mine e8000 torque sensor also failed after approximately 2000km
I was fortunate, my Merida was 3.5 years old so 18 months out of warranty but Shimano replaced the motor free of charge.
If you bought the bike new from a local dealer try there first, I did and Shimano requested the motor back and...
I can't play the video as I'm offshore at the moment
I had a clicking noise on my 2022 cube stereo hybrid 160, it took me a little while to figure it was the chain ring rubbing the chain guide
The chain guide had dropped too low and was rubbing the raised section of the chain ring spokes
Yes they probably will, they do on my 2022 Cube
I have rerouted the Kiox wire as I noticed it was getting trapped between the stem and false cross bar , the cables can be pushed to one side
Thought I'd try one of these from a company called Airbike as it's less than half the price of the Shimano XT that came fitted . I've done a couple of rides and so far so good, can't really tell any difference when shifting gear (y)
I agree, take it back to where you bought it and start the process again and hopefully a new report will not show any unauthorised software.
My Merida was almost 4 year old and well out of warranty when my e8000 motor failed , I took it back to where I bought it and they sent the motor back to...
