Yup understood, sorry i have 2 issues. I have the speed issue which I am working with Jean on. However i cannot go into the setting to adjust motor peak power, acceleration, etc when connected over bluetooth, it keeps saying operation failed. If i am disconnected every once in a while it lets me go into the screen. Otherwise it just tells me to connect to device.
I found the app to be a bit flaky on the version of bluetooth used at both ends. If you have a version 3 245 then maybe use a different phone with a newer ANdroid and hence newer bluetooth. But is must be 5.0 or later.

I have a pixel 6 with android 14 and Bluetooth 5.2 and have the same "operation failed" issue. Others have reported it as well. Hopefully Bafang fixes the issue soon.

Maybe it's the version of Go+ app itself.
The latest version is v2.2.0 Nov 2023. I suspect this is the version causing problems.
Maybe try previous versions 2.1.0 or 2.0.1
2.1.0 worked for me many months ago.

Close enough to fit my 3-pin charger plug? Replacing my dust cover for the 720Wh factory battery.
Possible replacement.👇

The dust cover looks more stout and then just splice wires to battery connector...🤔

FYI: I finally got Linda to physically disassemble the charging port to convince her that the dust cover was actually separate and therefore replaceable. Also that the covers likely could be sourced from their battery maker providing the charge port...(sorry frustrating but after 6 weeks of trying to communicate this to her, too close to the New Year's to inquire I guess?🤯).

Here's my charging plug 3 pin male.👇

Here's the 3-pin female replacement port. 👇 Is it close enough to fit? Any electrical engineers care to weigh in? (I don't know if the matching charger is 42 V/2.0 A for the replacement if needed. I'll try to find out if necessary.)

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a CEF50. I want to know from a size perspective what folks have chosen. I'm a regular 186cm tall dude - 85kg. Whenever I check sizing charts I seem to fall between a L and a XL.

I currently ride a Rocky Mountain XL (This will be my donor bike) - it rides well although it can be a challenge to throw around.

The team at CEF50 suggested an XL - I'm keen to get some opinions from current CEF50 owners on this.

Cheers
Mike

I’m about the same height as you and I have the XL. I run it with a mullet and I can throw that around all day.

@mike_kelly any thoughts? Just buy it and see if it works?😵
The problem I see is that the plug I got and the one you originally got have a diamond shaped opening with two screw lugs that are glassed into the frame. Your new candidate is designed for a round opening, If you were doing this from scratch that might be fine but not when it is already cut-out for the diamond shape. The next problem with your candidate is that it appears to be designed for an installation that needs a thick "spacing" between where the nut screws on and where the outer surface contacts the frame.

Ok thanks. I'll explore your custom charging plug that you rigged for your battery extenders next.👊

It has turned out to be a good plug but it does stick out a lot and if you have narrow q cranks they could hit.
I forgot you are just using it for charging so it does not matter. It does have a nice screw-on cap.

Guys, regarding charger port, I'm thinking of building an extender for the summer but I was thinking of using a magnetic charging plug, there are tons on Aliexpress, some with a nice 90° angle and low profile. Have you tried this ? Also, not sure about Bafang default charger, there might be more than 2 wires, but you can find 3/4/5 pins connectors
