AXS Reverb 31.6 175 inserted as much as possible into RH2. About 16mm of seatpost sticks out.

If you remove the bottom plastic cap you can get another 4mm inserted.

Anyone knows if the 5dev two bolts stem can fit 50mm rise Oneup bar…

I Despise CL hubs on ebikes. Nope nope nope

I wish you the best lol.
Well my onyx hook flange hubs came CL. Apparently they are only available CL. Had I known that, I wouldn’t have ordered hook flange. But it is what it is.

My plan is to run an adapter. So we will see. I’m not worried about the adapter though. I’m more about the adapter WITH the speed ring.

I had clearance issues with my CL Onyx classics, but that was on my Levo. I was able to find a solution, but that was after ordering every adapter I could find and mixing and matching lol.

The real nut kicker — part of my solution, was also part of my problem. The speed sensor was also the lock ring. Said lock ring tightened with a cassette tool which wouldnt fit with the adjustable preload end cap. I couldnt remove the endcap with the speed sensor-lock ring and round and round we go 🤢

I can go on and on, but Im getting cold sweats thinking about this 🤣.

From what I have read/seen, Avinox’s speed sensor looks much better for CL hubs. Also, Onyx updated to a cinch style end cap for the preload. Im hopeful.

Pretty rad you got the hook flange Vespers. Mine had the inserts pressed in as I made damn sure to ‘just say no’, when asked if I wanted CL

Gosh I find the Axs cable very hard to come through due to the connection head, any tips?

I've used a Dropper post cable and taped the connection head of AXS cable to the end of the dropper cable that connects to the dropper post. Fed the small wire end of dropper cable through hole in frame next to derailleur and pulled the taped cables through.

When routing my shifter cable, which is thicker and less flexy, I tried to fish it through like in the assembly video, but It would get stuck at the bend in the swingarm near the linkage. So I had to go the opposite way, from the linkage end of the swingarm towards the derailleur. I was only able to do it that way. 👍🏼

Speaking of dropper posts - thinking of running the Fox Neo Wireless 175mm on my RH3 frame. Been doing the measurements over and over (Been difficult without the actual bike!).

Anyone else roughly 180cm tall with a 83cm in-seam and 170mm cranks that finds this length of dropper post okay? My old bike also ran 175mm (Reverb AXS), but the seatpost insertion length is more on the Crestline. I don't mind running the collar a little above the frame.

Sorry this is a massive stab in the dark but would help me put my mind at ease 😂

This was a PIA for me, couldn’t get past the bend. The pre-inserted tubing wasn’t strong enough, I used a braided nylon string and eventually forced it through.

Nice! I’m also running Berd but with Tune hubs and LB carbon rims. 🤘🏻😎
Nice. I went with Derby for Rims. My last ride in California was the Solstice trail in Fairfax, with Ray the owner just before he sold the company.

These open windows under the linkages gives me anxiety of water and mud getting in for sure. Any thoughts ? I guess these are for heat management? I want to tape them lol, not feeling I can wash my bike anymore

That looks awesome! But that’s tamarancho, not solstice. Solstice is over on the 680 trail in San Anselmo, I used to live right next to it

Yeah. I was following him. I recognized a few of the segments from the few previous times I rode in the area.

The cable management routing holes?

Water always gets in frames and around the motor anyway and the motor is IP66 rated, covers all water except full submersion so should be fine!

6 (dust) → completely dust-tight
6 (water) → protected against powerful water jets from any direction

Onyx with Berd. Pretty sure Troydon is running Onyx as well

Looks easy peasy with the Avinox SS on centerlock. Have you run Vespers on an eeb before? Any issues? Nobl and Onyx push for classics, but I havent had any issues with my vespers.

Here are my wheels impatiently waiting for a frame to strap up to lol. Wonder if they will be white for more than the NBD photos 🤣

I’m peaceful with the small holes (Axs cable and speed sensor). I meant the bigger open areas where u can see motor case and the main cables directly. My Amflow keep the motor all covered in the frame as comparison.

I wouldn't worry about that, the motor on my KSL is well and truly open to the elements, cable connections all IP66!
