2026 Santacruz Bullit Owners - Setup - Tricks - Discussion

Hi guys. Just built up my bullit and am absolutely loving it. My float x2 is currently getting tuned for the bike so I’m rocking my dhx2. Still need to get it dialed in. Loving the podium. No issues thus far and I definitely think it’s the best feeling fork I’ve ridden. This is the 2nd bike I’ve had it on. Side note, has anyone else used chat gpt to dial in suspension? I tried it as a joke, and I’m actually kind of impressed with how good it actually worked!

Howdy - I just picked up a Bullit an hoping someone knows about the included sheet of frame protection tape. Is this water-application tape like helicopter tape or a typical adhesive? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I installed the new kiox 400c and I managed to pair it with the Flow app and the mini remote control, the problem I have is that I can't see the possibility of modifying the kiox display settings in the flow options, I will probably have to take the bike to a Bosch center and connect it to the Bosch diagnostics, but first I'll try to ask here in the forum, thanks in advance.

The customization is not available yet. In the little tiny subnote on the Bosch website it says available Autumn of 2025

I already experienced main of the noises this bike is having.
- Headset lack of grease
- bosch plastic display on the frame
- e13 rubber protection on the right crank arm.
Recently, a new one appeared. I thought it was a bosch monting motor issue. It was like a cliking noise at every pedals strokes. At the beginning it was not inquisitive, but it began louder.
Ultimatly it was the One-up seatpost. The hydraulic cartrirdge was not properly screw (top and bottom). it was lose and was creaking so much. hope it 'll help.
Did you just remove the seat and seatpost and tighten the screws?

Thanks for the seatpost tip. Checked mine on my Vala and the ends were not tight. Not 100 percent sure it was it but no more noise

I am very close to purchasing a Bullit 70 or 90. 2 questions
1 - both the 70 and 90 have low end forks (zeb base vs fox performance - this thread suggests upgrading either fork with mrp or vorsprung) everything else is pretty similar in spec except the rear hub and cassete being hg driver on a sram mth hub. I have Maven Ultimate brakes to add to the build and my preferred handlebar. the price difference is 1600 CDN between the 2 models. In this scenario does it make sense to just get the 70, is there anything Im missing?
2 - I also have a 205X60 vivid ultimate air and Vorsprung telum that I use on my analogue bike. Is there a calculation that i can use to find out what the rear travel would be if I short stroked the bike until I can restroke my shocks. Or even better does anyone know how much rear travel would the bike have at 205x60?

Made the splurge with the öhlins. Only one ride so far, but the coil transforms the bike, holy shit. Still dialing it in, but blows the X obviously out of the water. Riding with high progression setting. Also: motor update is a blast, emtb+ mode rocks.
How are you all liking the coils? My Bullit should be here any day. Ive been riding a Stumpy all summer and love the Genie. Would love to get close to that plush feeling.

Any owners do any lunchtime/midday charging? I know there's no fast charging on the Bosch but can you still get a worthwhile amount into a 600W in an hour or two to see you into the afternoon?

Give it a try and let us know ? Im pretty sure it charges to 80% then slows down for the remainder to 100%

yes, you get 50% charge in ~2 hours. When I am in this situation, I use 2 bosch chargers (my wife also has a bosch powered ebike) and I charge my range extender and in frame battery at the same time. 1.5ish hours of charging with both gets me plenty of a charge to knock out a second ride with decent stats.

On the Bosch website they say you can add about 50% charge to the 600Wh battery with two hours of charging.

The red is a holder/installer/tool for a sram barb brake line fitting for where it meets the lever. The yellow I forgot what that is... I think it may be the sag indicator for the rear shock?

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a M Bullit. I read somewhere the CC model deraillure is wired into the main battery and doesn’t require rhe Sram battery. Anyone know if this is true?

I also read that but when my bike arrived it wasn't hard wired. :(

Anybody here with the GX build having issues getting their shifting go smooth? Did the same steps I did on my x01 vala but the chain is still making noises. I did the Microshift adjustment and it gets better but I am at 14 and would need to go further

Mine is fine however it's at 14 since brandnew.

These podiums are dumb. First trip on book settings were damn good for someone jumping back on after a 15 year break🤣🤣. Battery consumption to me looked very low for cruzin around on emtb and turbo, ultimately removed the external battery after 5 miles.
5'8 170lbs
86psi podiums
182psi x2
Book Recommended settings.

I didn't like the fox suspension and went RS Ultimate (180mm ZEB + Vivid Coil).
At 178cm and 73kg (without gear) I'm running around 56psi and 400lbs. HSC fully open, LSC changes on every trail. HBO is set to minus one.
The 180mm might've been a mistake. The Bike corners different. At some angle it just feels like there's some more resistance. And then it just tipps over. Or at least feels like.

Out of curiosity, what did you not like about the fox suspension? Sounds like you found out that the bike handles better with the 170 fork. Did you try lower pressure (more sag) in the fork and more compression with the 180 fork?

I just never liked the way a Fox rides. Although I like the HSR/LSR. The RS doesn‘t have that. I can tune the RS more to my Liking and also prefer it over an Öhlins.
I‘m very low in the Travel now (almost 30% sag up Front) and like that better. But 170mm is the better fit for that bike IMO.
