Bullit V4 - bolt torques

Can anyone please tell me or where to find the torque figures for the Bullit? Particularly the frame and pivot bolting points?

I can’t seem to see them in the manuals provided, nor are they labelled on the bolts themselves.

The stem, handlebars, and a few others are labelled with their torques but not the main big ones.

Thanks

Did you find the problem? I think I'm getting something similar in my Bullit.
Yes, for me replacing the motor mount bushes fixed the problem.

I put in an MRP Lift damper V2 for the Fox 38. Made a big difference! In a good way .. Have a Vorsprung Telum coming for the rear and also going to try a smashpot in the 38 for a full coil ride! Ill report back

Bullit - 170mm fox factory 38 sag setting

Are any of you guys having to go way lower than recommend psi in the fork to get correct sag?

I’m 83kg with kit on and recommend psi is 102. I’m close to 90psi to get around 15% sag. Any similar experiences?

Two sides notes:- 1. Fork is not broken in, the bikes maiden voyage is tomorrow! 2. When measuring my sag with ruler, under the bikes own weight the fork sits about 2mm down in travel, so I lift up the fork a little to measure up to the o-ring if you know what I mean.

I of course will test all this and setup when riding. Just looking for feedback.

Im right there with you 84 kg. 195 lbs. 90 psi. Don’t care about sag so much as feel and travel but we both ended up same place. Also the MRP damper is a worthy addition! just put one in and My riding has improved as well as my speed.

I fitted a factory 38 to mine so I checked with Santa Cruz UK what tune is supposed to be on the fork. They said that Santa Cruz HQ haven’t listed a specific tune so it’s probably exactly the same bought with the bike as aftermarket. Given that, when I recently had some coaching we ended up adding pressure to the fork above the recommendation as I was blowing through the travel easily. I’m about 75kg kitted up and am at 100PSI. I guess what might be different is tokens, I’m not sure what the Santa Cruz spec is for how many are fitted but my coach suggested it might be two. I don’t know what the aftermarket standard fitment is for tokens.

I’ve read a lot of things that say fork sag isn’t relevant anyway.

How many tokens do you use at 75kg?

Were these covered on warranty? Feels like I’ve got a click feel coming from the right hand side when I’m pedalling
Yes…….but yesterday the clicking sound returned. I have now noticed if you do a short back pedal the point of the pedal stroke at which the click sounds changes. So maybe it is something to do with the Bosch unit.

I already experienced main of the noises this bike is having.
- Headset lack of grease
- bosch plastic display on the frame
- e13 rubber protection on the right crank arm.
Recently, a new one appeared. I thought it was a bosch monting motor issue. It was like a cliking noise at every pedals strokes. At the beginning it was not inquisitive, but it began louder.
Ultimatly it was the One-up seatpost. The hydraulic cartrirdge was not properly screw (top and bottom). it was lose and was creaking so much. hope it 'll help.

Wow guys youre not filling me with confidence! I've put a deposit down on an XO. And am waiting till August to get it - Australia is lagging apparently - and now im hearing all this about noises and creaking etc. This bike is a lot of money and i wanna hear how it rips but is so plush at the same time etc etc
Can anyone say how they've had no problems at all and cant believe how perfect the bike is?? That'd be nice!!

Little creaking uphill, but thats about it, probably the motor mount. Bike absolutely shredds and turns incredibly well. Very playful and esp. for the travel good climber imho. Cant wait for the emtb+ mode.

Thanks but that is not my issue as I put a reverb seatpost on the bike.

My seat creaks a bit but I dont sweat it too much.. But hey! I just put both an MRP Lift Damper and a Vorsprung Smashpot into the fox 38 on my Bullit, MRP first and then the smashpot a few days later. Really liked the MRP damper on its own and th smashpot just smooths things out even more.. Have Telum coming end of the week and I’ll report back and put up a few pics. Crappy pic Would only focus on the headset lol

Running a Fox Podium fork on my Bullit now, it's an amazing fork. Won't be going back to a regular fork again.

That was fast! Yeah I was thinking of a push or intend down the road and move the fox 38 to my heckler SL possibly. Eager to hear some ride reports from you.

What length extender cable are people using? FAQ says 150-250 but 200mm would be best however not in production

Fox factory X2 shock volume spacers

Does anyone know how many volume spacers come fitted with the Fox factory x2 shock on the Bullit?

Finally got a proper ride in on the new Bullit. This thing really does rip. Definitely faster on this than I was my Gen 3 Levo.

24 miles - 4,000 ft of elevation and 13% of battery left. I'm 205lbs and used a lot of EMTB mode on the climbs and Touring elsewhere. Buddy with a 750WH Levo finished with 18% battery (similar weight)
