Here's mine - love it, not a 4x4 sadly but they are available... Happy to answer any questions...

This must be the most versatile vehicle on the planet if you also want to have some side jobs.

Not only will it take several MTB's, but you can use it for :

Uber CSI/Body Removal
Uber Funerals
Uber Weddings
Uber Diplomatic Transport
Uber Rap Star Gangsta Driveby Shootings
Uber Sci-Fi B-movie Space ship stand in

The only way I would drive one of those is in disguise ..its got to be the worst looking vehicle they have ever produced ?
Agreed. Still better looking, inside and out, than those gopping Japanese monstrosities. It'll also be faster, cheaper to run, tax, insure and far, far nicer to drive. The only bonus those imports offer with all that velour and pumped leather is the ability to film period realistic '70's porn remakes.

Once you're sat in it you can't see the exterior, only the interior and if you think those pug-fugly Japanese SUVs are nicer inside than a BM then there's no hope for you and I'd like to ask if it's ok to give your guide dog a biscuit?

Nice you went for a rider, be a sporty drive! These are a pain in the ass to buy especially with sun roofs, I didnt want cream originally but might have to go with it as options are limited, where did you buy from?

I got mine from County Cars in Strood. Nice guys but I paid more than I wanted to... Have a look on elgrandoc.co.uk for dealers and private sales

Just an update so I bought an Elgrand as below:

CD72E9A0-552D-4A8D-A7A7-71F61E798343.jpeg

Cost £9500 but I had to compromise on 4wd, sun roofs, crazy power curtains and things, then turns out it wasn’t undersealed or decored and I’d need a tow bar but after 6 weeks of searching this was the best buy! Then....next day the exact one is been looking for pops up, so I sold my first elgrand within 2hrs for £10,500 and my next one is cheaper but has all the things missing and has been prepped properly on entry to the UK plus as a tow bar, happy days!

I pick my new ellie up next week, was meant to be this week but Scotland’s had -20 degree weather so it’s been stuck meh!

crazily I could still get my bike inside this converted one, my next is also converted, I’m probably better with a side conversion really so the bike can live inside but I decided it’s better for the fam to have days out atm and just use my Thule rack instead, I don’t see myself getting to exiting places anytime soon!

The car/bus/van drives great, drives like a car and comfort wise is great! Interestingly when I picked it up I was handed a Vito for the one way trip and that was horrible!

looks lovely, congratulations! Enjoy it.

mine just passed it’s second MOT in a row without issue so I treated it to some new tyres, wiper blades and a service. ??

I bet you really miss this beast!!! I have a 63 and the sound is therapeutic. Also crushing sports cars in my heavy SUV is a blast.
My insurance is about 130 a month.

I do mate! My missus made me sell it  If you haven't already - check out the Brabus 700 upgrade - I had that done to mine and it turned it into a monster!

I will buy another, just need to find someway to pay for it and somewhere to store it without her finding out!

I’ve been looking at the Renntech. They give me 15% discount. But meh, even on the autobahn after 250 things start to get squirmy. At least when I did that on my super bike I didn’t have to worry about worst case surviving and eating through a straw for life.
for sure I’ll never grow up tho. Every time I see babes or another car I open the exhaust flaps. Which I guess my American spec is louder than ze German ones.

you should just store your new 63 at your girlfriends house.

Renntech are supposed to be awesome - I did look at the Renntech 760 myself but the amount of hardware changes needed put me off as its been years since I ran highly modded cars, the 690 looks great - will destroy the Cheroke Trackhawk as well.

Yeh I know what you mean, I took mine up to 175mph (around 280kmh) and I needed new underwear, in comparison I took an old MV F4 1000 to around the same and it was rock solid. The 63 had more to go as well but my pants didnt.

Haha I wish, can't control one woman in my life let alone two ?

So I sold this in the end after owning for 2 weeks and made a 1.5k profit in the process…..literally day I bought it the perfect one popped up the next day so I bought that one instead, just had a great trip to the Lake District and wow the 4wd mode really came to my rescue as I drove through a couple of the mountain passes that were 25 degrees etc, up hill in this beast was no problem, scary coming dh though since I wasn’t sure my brakes would perform fully! ?

This one has been great, crappy garage said it was sound until next MOT but I had about £850 of remedial works, luckily I got for a good price and was low miles.

4wd / power curtains / 3.5l / sun roofs / kitchen conversion

I could potentially sleep inside it with my bike, might have to take a front wheel off but I thought maybe better to get something for more ‘staycation’ stuff this year rather than just tons of room just for the bikes plus conversions actually stop the depreciation and add a little value so there’s a bonus. Tempted to add a pop top and LPG

I also pumped up some wheels to make them more JDM to go along with my current mid life crisis
