It probably isn't specifically designed for the wheel size change. Probably labelled that way because you cannot run the shorter chainstay with the 29. There may be clearance issues if you did.

As I said before. You can probably run the 27.5 on both chainstay lengths. But not the 29 on the short CS.

Dunno, looks like it is specifically for the wheel size change. And yes, agree re the running a 27.5 in the 29 setting.

It's official. Pushys sent this email out.

Still only the Turbo Force. But price is pretty nice at AUD$7999. If the Flux is only $1K more for the whole bike. I will be ordering it, and doing my own upgrades.

Spec on the Turbo Force XT is pretty good too. Probably slightly better than the Amflow PL Carbon, and AUD$1300 cheaper, and slightly lighter.

Another Aussie shop that stocks Teewing told me the frameset option has been discontinued from the manufacturer, so looks at the moment like full bikes only.

If the Flux One comes with the same spec as Andy's bike. I probably wouldn't change much, other than converting the SRAM 90 transmission to GX electronic. So if it is sub AUD$10K. I'd be pretty stoked.

I could always make suspension changes later.

I'm definitely going to change the front wheel to carbon, and I have a 29er carbon rim. But I'll leave the rear alloy.

I will be making some cosmetic changes to parts and I'm looking to maybe even do a vinyl wrap on the frame.

I think from a spec point of view its pretty similar, just a few tweaks here and there. Obvs the stock bike won't come with the PEMBREE cockpit and the wheels are alloy (as I mentioned in the video) but they are much better than the ones that came on the Turbo Force.

I don’t hate the blue, I wish we had some actual patterns/designs though. Like their Turbo Force race team bike looked awesome IMO, I’d like some designs like that to be available.

I have yet to see the blue up close in the sun., is it just a plain matte finish?
 
Super keen to get some dates too :) Although I probably wouldnt pounce till the motor and battery update drop anyways. Also I think @iamandisykes mentioned some small updates to the frame he might have some news on?

Updates that I know have been added are drain holes on the seatstays as they were filling up with water. I understand that they were talking with i-Track but from what I understand from design it doesn't infringe on any patents so not sure what they outcome there is. I've also fed back my input regarding the flipchips. I personally think the horst link chip should simply be a long/short chip and the lower shock mount chip should be the 29/mullet chip. Not sure if they will take that advice though. Also still waiting on the updated idler (thought it would come with another frame they sent but it didn't) but the original one is still running fine. If I hear anything else I'll let you all know 🙌

It's not entirely dissimilar from what deviate did with the claymore 29 and claymore mx.
The f/r ratio was decent on the 29 version, and went to hell with the mx.
Mx bike was better at low speed, tight corners, but lost a significant amount of front end traction on faster corners that had sub optimal traction.
No idea why a manufacturer would think mullet=short chainstays. Just leaning into the "playful" moniker I guess.
 
To all those that were asking, I did just confirm there will be a frame only option (at least in the US). It will be slightly more $ then what the current Turbo Force frame is costing but it will be available..

There will be two versions, a "pro" and a "XT", both builds will be all fox/Shimano with the Pro having the fox factory vs. the XT having the performance (elite I believe). I'm gussing the XT version will be a manual shift and the pro will be Di2 but will verify. I should have a early version of the manual soon.

The Pro will be a black frame with a small Kashima colored logo and the XT will be a blue with a small silver logo.

Hmmm ......... The problem with the Di2 Shimano system, is you won't get the Coastshift or Chain Protection that comes with the Avinox motor paired with a Sram Electronic Derailleur.

In Australia, there will be two versions. A "Pro" and "One" version of the Flux. The "One" coming with SRAM 90 transmission, which can be easily converted to GX Electronic version. Meanwhile the "Pro" will also have the Di2 Shimano. Hence why I will be choosing the "One" version and upgrading the derailleur.

As I previously stated, if the "Flux One" full bike comes in sub AUD$10K, it will be the Avinox poweered Enduro I get. If It doesn't, I'll probably keep looking, for a frame only Avinox Enduro.

Maybe maybe not? There are changes coming to the firmware that may allow that. Don't have all the details yet but as soon as I hear something I'll pass it on.

Could be right on the "one", not 100% sure what they are calling the lower level I just used XT because that was the previous naming convention. Pro will be the pro though.

I don't have info on anything outside the US but I would imagine that they would? Did they offer the Turbo Force as a frame only option in Australia? I was originally told they were not doing a frame only option but they appear to be very open to suggestions and getting the consumers what they want.

There was a frame only option for the trail bike originally, but a shop told me it was discontinued so I wasn’t holding out much hope for the Flux.
 
Great, ANOTHER DJI bike with a ridiculously short seatpost insertion depth. I really need a medium frame that accepts a 210 One Up, but It doesn’t really look feasible. My Amflow can only run a 180, and even that I ALSO have to run a (GASP) QR. Seatpost collar, or that saddle is absolutely in the way.
I have stupid long legs and a short torso, it’s always been hell finding bikes that fit. Then droppers came along, and frames that you could use the entire seatube length.
And there was peace in the Valley.
Now I will only run DJI/Avinox motors, I can’t find a bike that will fit my needs.
I looked into Crestline, and Forbidden…

velduro? what saddle height do you really need?
 
I’ll measure tomorrow, but it’s astronomical for my height.
(5’8”, but I have an almost 33” inseam).
Short torso, short arms.
Im shaped like a T-Rex.
Im also running 142mm crankarms, lol, but it was just as bad with 165’s.
