Cube one77 2025

Hi, I have a question about the 100nm update. After updating, I have 750W available, but only 85nm. I've searched the forum and saw that this topic has been discussed before, but I haven't found an answer on how to fix the problem. Reinstalling and deleting the bike from the app didn't help. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
Have you tried:
Flow App > Settings > eBike Update > Check for eBike Update

I had to do it twice to get both w and nm.

Yes, there was such an option, but it still couldn't be installed (an error appeared immediately). After reinstalling the app and the bike, I no longer have this option.

Damn it.
Looks like you'll have to take it to a shop with Bosch Diagnostics.

It’s on a different page. There’s an option at the bottom of a random page that you have to find and tick to get the 100nm. Instructions are in this thread somewhere.

Thanks, I read this thread but it doesn't bring anything new, apart from the possible need to contact a Bosch dealer

I had the same difficulty. Not the most comprehensive process from bosch o_O
Took some days to understand it. After APP and Bike software upgrade u have to do one more step to have available the 100nm option.
It´s an option in the APP.

Those of you who were between sizes, which size did you choose in the end? I'm 176 cm and I tried an M, and it felt a little bit short. But it could be that I'm used to an L (although with 30mm stem) on the current bike.

I’m 178 and went L. An M would just hit my knees when turning the bar if it was a requirement where as the L cleared by a few cm. I reduced the stem size a little to bring the bar back in so at 176, assuming the rest of you is built like me then I’d personally go L

I took another path: at 1,78 I went for M. IMO it depends how you ride: for fast rides when stability is the key, quick flow trails in bikeparks etc, I'll choose my hardtail, which is a long beast. For natural, twisty trails I'll choose the nimble fully.

Exactly my situation, 175 and went with a Large SLX model and enjoy the fit.

L for 1m77, but I knew I was going to overfork it to 190mm which reduces the reach by almost 1cm.

I'm 178cm just over 5'10". I opted for a ONE77 in a M. I came from a YT Jeffsy size L.

I managed to sit on a M and a L, and the M felt right, especially as it's an ebike not a regular one. I also think Cube sizing is big. (Compared to YT anyway).

Saying that. Everybody's body is different - long/short arms and long/short legs.
Try to sit on a M or a L if you can.

Hi everyone

I’m trying to decide between the Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE77 AT and the Radon Deft 10.0.
This season I had the chance to ride my fiancée’s Cube ONE77 SLX during a trip to the Alps. I really liked the riding position in the mullet setup — I felt like I was “sitting in the bike,” lower and more stable.

The only thing that surprised me was the lower ground clearance — almost 2 cm less than on the Deft. A few times I even clipped the ground with my heel while leaning hard into corners.
This makes me wonder whether those extra 2–3 cm of clearance make a noticeable difference, especially on the technical Alpine trails that I love.

Radon Deft 10.0

excellent, high-end specification,
higher ground clearance (around +2 cm),
strong Magura Gustav Pro brakes — the biggest difference compared to the Cube.

Cube ONE77 AT

visually I like it much more,
the geometry and riding position of the ONE77 SLX suited me very well,
my only concern: the lower ground clearance.

The only thing that slightly puts me off the Radon is the UD carbon finish, which I’ve heard can sometimes show subtle discoloration — although I’m not sure how noticeable it really is.

Everything above is just my subjective impression

Do you think those extra 2–3 cm of ground clearance make a real difference on difficult Alpine terrain?

And for those who have been riding the Cube ONE77 for a longer time — would you still choose this model again?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Imo it’s about riding technique. You’ll learn to survive with low bb, or you can change to shorter cranks. I changed back to longer cranks, riding with 150mm cranks felt too weird, especially comparing to my other bikes.

I have the SLX and tuned my shock correctly and put 150 cranks on. Since then I've had zero pedal strikes and I don't feel any difference when riding.

Hi, has anyone had problems with the Magura MT7 brakes on a Cube One 77 TM? The noise is unbearable, and the front brakes vibrate and squeal. I've tried several types of brake pads, thoroughly cleaned them with cleaner, and even cleaned the pistons. I think the solution will be to replace the Magura rotors, but I don't know which ones to buy.

Yeah mine are terrible. Squealing, sometimes sort of a knocking sound and all really loud. This is after 500km+ of heavy use. The retailer says it is just sound of "big strong brakes" but I can't believe it is normal. They did swap the default pads for some softer ones, and it has gotten a little better. Defaults have a lot of metal in them apparently.

Magura perform very good, but the squealing, shudder and mainly the ridiculously inconsistent bleeding made me switch. You can perhaps clean+sand the rotors and pads more often. Either you accept all the cons or move on to a different brand.

FYI: I finally got my Cube acid light working, it needed a setting enabled in the bosch diagnostic tool from a shop.

It is nice to have the light connected so easily to the headtube and never worry about charging another battery. Mounts to any gopro mount, and comes with a custom connector for the stock stem (didn't try it). Now I don't find the light that bright and there is a weird pattern, think of a like a diamond pattern.

So great for commuting, but you will probably need to pair it with a helmet mounted light for trail riding.
It is this one: ACID E-Bike Front light PRO-E 150 X-Connect

I’ve not seen a Thomson stem in the wild for some time.
I’ve still got one that’s over 20 years old, I’ve put in on my daughter’s bike.
Sorry, slight thread tangent!

Hello everyone

I recently bought Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE77 Race with budget shock absorbers SR Suntour
I have a question, what PSI should I set the shock absorber to, considering my weight of 99 kg?
According to the Suntour, the front shock should be set above 85 PSI, which I think is too much.
I currently have the rear shock set to 270 PSI but I don't know if it's too much

Maybe one of you is around the same weight as me and has more experience with these shock absorbers?

2nd question, what brand are your rear fenders? because I need to buy some

Thanks in advance for your help

I can’t give specific pressures as I don’t have the same suspension but as a rule of thumb set the sag, how much the forks and shock compress with you sat on it, to 25-30% of travel as a starting point and adjust until you get full travel when you’re riding and or it doesn’t bottom out too often
I like RRP mudguards, personally I like the shortest version but obviously the longer ones give better protection

What brake pads are you putting under these bikes i have these brakes

Magura MT Thirty. Front 4-Piston/Rear 4-Piston. Hydr. Disc Brake (203/203)

Gorilla Brakes are my go to brand. I find they're on par with Galfer performance wise, but cheaper.

I like their black Enduro Pro Resin pads as they have loads of bite and are nice and quiet (although this is on analogue bikes, but I'll be using them when my ebike arrives too).

They will also recycle your old pads for store credit, which is pretty cool.

I use Galfer purple pads on various brakes (Sram, magura, shimano), good increase in power from them but expensive.

Speaking of purple, I saw the new SLX in purple at a shop, wow, really nice colour close to oil slick in real life:
