Cube one77 2025

I use Galfer purple pads on various brakes (Sram, magura, shimano), good increase in power from them but expensive.

Speaking of purple, I saw the new SLX in purple at a shop, wow, really nice colour close to oil slick in real life:

Why do you think they didn't opt for downhill soft on the front?

Why do you think they didn't opt for downhill soft on the front?
I had continental Enduro soft for a full year up front the tyre looked in really good condition when I replaced it. I have a downhill super soft now, ot is a bit better but not dramatically so (dry conditions mostly where I live) and has worn considerably in 4 months.

Will most likely go Enduro soft again up front. Dh soft rear for sure though, as I slow punctured the Enduro rear on a really big ride and it messed up the entire day.

What do you think about installing a spring? Isn't the frame too linear? I would like to install a new Vivid, but I don't know what to choose: air or spring.

I believe the frame is capable of fitting a coil, but I’ve also heard that it can invalidate the warranty in a claim if found to be using one. I know there’s a couple of members on this thread that have fitted a coil, so maybe they could shed more light.
I’m keen on the idea too, as I love a coil. Currently eyeing up an EXT Vecta myself….

Hey everyone. I've finally finished building my bike. It was originally a 2025 SLX. I bought it from someone with 300 km on the odometer for €3,300 last June. I carefully researched the component market and bought components on sale or on sites like eBay. In the end, buying new components and selling the old ones, the final build cost me €4,200. That's all there is to it. Among the features, I have a Shimano XT Di2 automatic transmission and an Acid headlight with high beam. The wheels are Schwalbe Supergravity 2.6, and each wheel has a Tannus anti-puncture insert. The entire bike now weighs just over 26 kg. But now I don't have to worry about the route I choose. This bike is ready for any route. What do you think, did it turn out well?

Looks like the Radon Deft 10.0

Nice work, that's a lot of bike for the overall cost, I am surprised that the build was affordable, I am envious of the DT Swiss wheels, upgraded fork, and the coil shock. All of which would be a noticeable improvement to the ride.

Both bikes have a lot of similarities, which bike wins the beauty contest...

I was trying to get my hands on the Deft but being in the UK was an issue as they don't ship to here.
I'm very happy with my ONE77 although the spec for the price isn't as high as the Deft. I did hear that customer support with the Deft isn't very good particularly if I got it to the Uk, I'd be screwed with any warranty claims.
The ONE77 is winner!

By the way, I don’t agree that the Radon Deft is better for its money than Cube. If you look at BikeDiscount.de and compare the price of the Deft with the price of Cube, for the same money you get a Cube with better components.

A big advantage of Cube is that it comes with a mullet setup, not full 29-inch wheels. Since the bike has quite a lot of weight, a mullet setup is very important — it compensates for that weight in terms of maneuverability. The Radon Deft, on the other hand, doesn’t have the option to run a 27.5-inch wheel in the rear.

In addition, the Radon Deft has a rear shock with a trunnion mount. These shocks are usually more expensive than the shock used on the Cube.

A little help i was going to plug an acid light on my bile but my stem looks like this where is the plug on the bike?

There isn’t one on your bike. If there was it’s a rubber grommet right at the front on the headset where the logo is on yours

The port for connecting the XConnect headlight is located under the display or under the cover beneath the display. You need to unscrew one Torx bolt there.
Ah okei under the kiosk 400c?
So i guess i need a longer cable for it to get there i have this light https://www.bike24.com/p2865142.html

And the cable is pretty short on it.

Basically under here

Bad pic only think i got of the display

No, you don’t need a long cable. I have the exact same headlight, and I installed it without an extra cable. The length of this cable is just enough for this X-Connect, but you will need to take apart the handlebar and route the cable through it. Also, on the top cover of the handlebar, there are plugs for cables. You will need to make a new hole and insert the cable there.

Now i have checked this all out taken handlebar off and the display i only see 3 cables under the display 1 for dropper, 1 for rear brake and one for the gears.
Guess the
CUBE STEREO HYBRID ONE77 HPC RACE 800

Did not come with the x-connect or the wire from the motor is missing inside the frame.

Guess i will return the light then 🙄

Run a cable up from the motor - it isn't that difficult once you remove the battery back cover

It’s very strange that you don’t have it, because mine comes from the factory. And I asked ChatGPT, and it says that starting from 2025, Cube runs this cable in all their bikes. I pulled this cable a little toward myself — it looks like a T-shaped cable, and the connector itself was hidden closer to the head tube, so I had to pull it a bit toward myself.

The light is really good; I don’t recommend returning it. If you still don’t have the cable, it’s better to run it yourself. Actually, it’s not very difficult, and such a cable costs around 10–20 euros. But the light is really excellent, especially in the evening when you’re riding in the city and need to warn pedestrians that you’re coming from behind. I flash the high beam, and it works really well.

Maybe i am blind 😅 but i pulled the 3 cables tried to squeeze my hand in there but nothing probably easier to check next if i have a plug here as it seems thisis where the front light cable goes. But if not i will buy the cable tomorrow i’ve been using battery light and it’s getting annoying how often i need to charge it.

As far as I understand, the cable runs split along with the display. You need to remove the display and the cable that comes from it, pull it towards yourself, take out as much of it from the frame as possible, and the X-Connect should appear.

Hmm i didn’t pull the cable that goes to the kiosk/smart system that far maybe it’s stuck to that one will check that tomorrow makes sense since the other cables are not electric cables.

From the factory the light is powered from the blue port on the motor. The cable runs from there under the battery in the cable tray and the socket clips into the headset cover
I have the parts I’ve stripped off my bike if you want them. Be aware that if the light isn’t enabled from on your bike you will need a dealer to request Bosch to authorise it on your bike to get it to work
I’ve not heard about running a light from the Kiox it might be possible and if it is it will be a lot less hassle

From what I've read somewhere, the basic version of the One 77 Race doesn't have a cable installed to connect the light. I have the Race version myself. You need to buy a cable and connect it to the engine, or perhaps a cable splitter near the display will work. You'll probably need to contact a Bosch service technician to enable the light option in the system. This can be done remotely. I've seen people on the forum who install US software, and they can certainly do it for a small fee. If you contact a Bosch service technician, they'll probably tell you which cable to buy.

P.S. When you connect this lamp, please share the information on how to connect it because I am also thinking about buying the lamp and the Kiox 400C display
