SRAM say all THEIR batteries are interchangeable i.e. same battery works on all versions of derailleur.
Hard to understand that the Bosch cable uses a different battery connector.

Does the "Bosch" part have "SRAM" written on it ?
Seth bought it, not me. So I'm going on his post. But the battery does clip between the derailleur and the frame on the S1000 and GX derailleur. So it does make sense the higher battery clip of the Bosch cable may have clearance issues.

it's so high you can't even mount the derailleur to the frame, only compatible with older axs derailleurs or X0/XX/SL transmission

Has it got "SRAM" on it? Where did it come from?
The cables I've seen are a SRAM part not a "bike manufacturer" part.
On the GX Transmission deraillieur it sits horizontal and there are water-pooling issues rotting the pogo-pins, I notice on the XX DH T-Type derailleur it's angled again.
It will fit Eagle GX AXS derailleurs no problem, will the cover fit over it?

Thanks for these images.
I think they are facing opposite ways ?
Even so they do seem very different, and really annoying to have one not able to fit.
🤬

I agree. The connection you posted above looks like what I also will need to do. But I'll confirm when I have the motor.

Btw, I tried splicing the AXS power cable (micro A) to a DJI light cable with the correct z405 connector. I identified the positive and negative wires (both cables had black and blue wires).

I couldn't get it to work. Best of luck.

Was it mentioned yet in this thread that Avinox is supposedly releasing a adapter cable for this?

source or more info?
I spoke to the guy at drip e-bikes who is the distributor for Teewing in the US when I was placing my order and he said they’re aware of the issue with Amflow having taken all the cables and many people being stuck with large stock of the existing cables, so he said he was told an adapter of some sort is in the works to make the existing cables out there useful still, but timelines on availability wasn’t clear yet.

I have connected my cable to a 9V battery and the derailleur worked. So as long as I do the same to the 12V supply on the M2S motor. It should work. Now whether the Smoothshift works, is another story. But it should work too.

I will post photos of how I identify the 12V power source on the light cable, when connected to the M2S, so others can copy the procedure. But I cannot do anything without the M2S motor.

Here are the pics of the Amflow cable working after identifying the +ve and -ve. The Blue wire is the -ve and the black wire is the +ve. When I connect the battery and pressed the pod buttons, the green light came on on the derailleur, and it indexed both ways.

Though I now work as a software engineer. I started life as an Electronics Technician. So I'm very familiar with electronic circuits and power supplies. Hence why I decided to go through the process as the Guinea Pig.

when is you bike arriving?

Those who want to identify which cable colours are +ve and -ve on the Amflow Power Cable. Use this procedure.

The bottom of the battery clip on the cable is clearly marked for polarity. So use a multimeter to bell out which wire goes to the -ve. The -ve in most electronic circuits goes straight through. Whilst the +ve goes through the electronic components and is much harder to find.

I did exactly this to determine the Blue wire is the -ve.

Can't trust that you can just wire colour to colour !
Have to wire Avinox + to SRAM +
etc.
Whatever the colour/s.
@Astro66
SRAM + identified as BLK
SRAM - BLU

AVINOX - Colours identified by you for your adapter cable using the PIN locations supplied in the SRAM cable image.

My Amflow AXS Power Cable is exactly that.
Blue -ve
Black +ve
I have tested it. There is a video above for evidence. Problem seems that different cables are using different colours, with different polarity. So you must check polarity of the cables you purchase.

I will post exactly where I bought my cables, and what the connections are, for those not confident to work it out themselves. Hopefully the proper cables are not too far away. But who knows. These motors are selling like hotcakes, and many want the electronic transmission wired to the motor, for Smoothshift and Chain Protection. So any stock is going to sell quick.

I think we are still waiting on final confirmation that SRAM HIGO Z405 "RED" pin is +Ve

????

This is the problem 🫤

SRAM AXS Cable (@Astro66): BLK +Ve

SRAM HIGO Z405 (Tech. Doc): RED ?

Your particular Avinox Light Adapter: ???

Finally I could measure the M2s motor.

I have this: https://www.velofactory.ch/SRAM-Cable-Extension-Cord-780mm-Higo-Micro-A
It has two cables Black and Blue. As @Astro66 has posted, and I did measure it too, it looks like this:
Black is the Positive +
Blue is the Negative -

And this: Buy Supernova Connection Cable - Avinox / DJI New online
It has two cable Black and Blue, I did connect to the M2s and measure it and here is the polarity:
Blue is Positive +
Black is Negative -

With this two cables the correct wiring is Black with Blue and Blue with Black.
For safety I would recommend that you do your own check in case that cables are different.

Looking at the supernova light cable plug this is how the polarities are:

I have now built the cable next week I will test it.

I believe we have the same SRAM AXS Power Cables. So yes our cable colours there are the same.
Black is the Positive +
Blue is the Negative -

But our light cables are different. I have the Ebike24 cable. And from the video they released.
Red is the Positive +
Black is the Negative -

With my two cables the correct wiring is. AXS Cable Black with Light Cable Red. AXS Cable Blue with Light cable Black.

For safety I also would recommend that you do your own check in case your cables are different.

Yes - Check your cables (CYC)
My Nanobike.de light cable is different too
