Have now 4 good long rides with the update. Battery consumption is nearly the same. My usual 16 mile, 2100 ft, 1:20 loop in Turbo 100% of the time used to result in ~44% battery remaining. Now it's maybe 42%. I have no idea how they delivered 22% more power while mostly retaining identical battery consumption. Kudos to Specialized's engineering team.
I have similar thoughts about motor noise as
@Ribinrobin. Seems like somehow the motor makes less noise
under certain conditions. Even my action cam footage backs this up.
This fact is clearly established by the following footage from yesterday.
