Cube one77 2025

Yup. This goes through the pedals and frame. Feels like something is tight and you’re trying to tighten it more but it never stops. Also feels like your riding over a cattle grid.
I can suggest removing the pads and checking.

I have Question for forum Dwellers 😁
Was rather disappointed in New bikes battery range on yesterdays ride .
I've done this route many times and my gut feeling is the battery did not perform as it should have .
I've read in the past that previous generations of Bosch system sometimes reserve 10 percent of the battery of the front head light port is i"enabled"
Is this true if the Gen 5 motor system as I noticed on the screen that it's enabled on my new One77
If this is not the cause then I think I will have e to take it back to shop I purchased to get battery tested
Any help appreciated
Tam

1) What mode were you in?
2) How much battery was left?
3) How much do you weigh?
4) Were the trails hardpack and dry or loose/grassy/muddy?

Just taken delivery of these radials. Keen to get them fitted and see how they perform. Reviews seem to be good. Anybody run/ran them and how did you get on with them?

Firstly sorry for the rubbish video but we was trying to get the noise on camera the best we can... my bikes making this noise like your riding over a cattle grid when pedalling or freewheeling and i cant work out where its coming from, it sounds like the rear end to me.

it does it in all modes and off, it does it if im standing or sitting. It doesnt do it bouncing on it or when im off the bike. Ive checked all the bolts and shock mounts as well. If anyone has any ideas i'm all ears as its making me not want to ride it.

it also does it with the airshock as well as the coil.

Thanks
Also...its not a consistant rattle, so nothing is attached to something spiraling. It is a loose random sound. The sound is not metal, but could be aluminium or carbon. Stone in rim, loosened spoketension screw that subsided into the rim, or something inside motor.

Hi all. Newbie here. Got a one77 slx blackline ordered and hopefully arriving at weekend.

This is my first ebike, Ive been trying to get back into bikes after a few year of ill health but really been struggling on the enduro, having to push up climbs and really not enjoying it as the fitness is shot, massive muscle loss and weight gain due to my illness so my old riding buddies have convinced me to go ebike.

Had a good read through the thread and it looks like theres a few pre ride maintenance items to do before hand so just wanted to check with you guys.

Ive ordered an invisiframe kit for it so that will be the first job.

But then Im seeing shock bolts to remove, grease and locktite.

Battery mount to tighten and possible pad to stop rattles.

Ive asked about the recall on the crank bolt hardware and if it will come sorted or Ill wait to recieve after but assuming if not its lock time and keep an eye on it?

Any other bits? Seen some.say aboit rattling brakes on the xt. If they are like the saints on my other bikes then replacing the split pin with a bolt always sorted this.

IMO it’s anyway good practice to check the nuts and bolts before a ride. So I wouldn’t sweat too much about the crank bolts. I added some loctite after reinstalling the stock cranks and they’ve been fine after couple of rides.

Rattling brake pads… I think my teeth rattle louder on harder trails… maybe that’s your remedy on that issue 😁

But most of all: ride that bike! 👍

Great to have you here. I MTB since the eighties but Im a newbie too on EMTB

Is any one with AXS carrying a spare battery in case the wire gets ripped off on something?

I’ll have a on eBay and see what there is. I’d need a charger as well

Hi, 3 days ago I installed Bosch Kiox 400C on my CUBE, and I made 3-minute video on YouTube showing how to do it in 5 steps.
I also made a 1.5-minute SHORT for those in a hurry... I hope it'll be useful :)

Nice tutorial. Did your old set up not come with the Purion bar display also? I’m just wondering how the removal of that and the wiring to it incorporates into fitting the Kiox unit?

I’ve been looking at this it will be more complex on a bike with a System Controller AND a Purion 400. They are run off a Y cable which will need to be swapped out for a new cable to do the job properly. Worst case you’ll need to remove the motor cover, stem, headset, battery & mountings and the cable tray.
You can run both displays but the Mini Remote can only pair with one so the other will always show the last viewed page so it seems pointless

I have the cheapest RACE version, and didn't have Purion, only System Controller. That's why I was very keen to buy Kiox as soon as possible ;)

Sounds like a faff, so I’ll probably stick with the Purion.

I quickly came to the same conclusion too, as I have the AT version that came with the Purion 400. The Kiox 400c doesn‘t add touch or even much more screen real estate (still unsure what functions Kiox 400c adds over Purion 400), so it sounds like a whole load of pain just to tidy up the handlebars slightly and reduce the amount of plain black plastic on the top tube. The Purion 400 even has the advantage of being easier to see when riding, so I’ll keep thinking around that whilst I decide which fancy cranks I’ll buy with the £200+ not spent on the Kiox 400c (plus mounts and cables).

Would the Bosch Screw Kit Wide Drive bolt BDU31YY fit our bikes? I'm going to change the mounting hardware for the motor to see if that sorts my noise out.

Cube has done a great job of a more subtle approach to the brand lettering, my bike has the name Cube on the rear triangle in a lettering size that is a good fit for the bike. I am curious if the letters are on with adhesive or if they have a clear coat over them. Has anyone tried removing the lettering.

They’re clear coated over.

Right little update on my issue... I've had no rattle for last 2 rides after replacing the motor mount bolts, these seem tighter in the mounts then the old ones. I'm so happy now thats been sorted but ill keep an eye on it. :D

Ready to be sent for a good service tomorrow also having a new longer steerer tube fitted.

Finally I’ve received my One77 and I’ve already completely disassembled it! I’m going to customize it with the parts from my previous bike…

Unfortunately, the stem height I like doesn’t allow me to use the stock top cap, so I modified a regular one.

There’s a cable with a connector at the front that I don’t recognize— is it for plugging in a light? I wrapped it up and hid it inside the frame.

I’d like to know if it’s possible to remove the Abus lock cylinder that holds the battery so I don’t have to depend on a key. I’d rather use an Allen key or something similar… has anyone done this?

This week I hope to finish the assembly and test it out.

So had the bike less than a week, managed to get out on it 3 times.

Still tweeking the set up but first impressions are spot on. Need to dial in the suspension and the weight of the thing will take some getting use to. Its certainly a different way of riding again my old enduro, much more of a tank and less "chuckable". But then Ive managed twice the distance in half the time and Im not spent for days.

Having the pedal strikes so what fair priced cranks are people suggesting.

And noticing some creaking and rumbling low down on the bike so assuming thats the battery mount etc thats been mentioned before?
