Cube one77 2025

It'll be fine for getting my house to another address but pointless for riding trails - which is the only place I ride.
Strava or Trailforks integration would be better.
There is Komoot integration

For navigation i much prefer my Garmin watch rather than having a hundreds of pounds worth of computer with a delicate screen that will (all too often ) End up rolling down a steep trail when I crash .
For navigation I plot on plot a route using OS trails maps .
Creat a GPX and upload to gar.in watch
Set watch up to bleep and vibrate at every junction .
Simple , relatively cheap and reliable navigation that's a lot more (crash proof ) than any bike computer or screen mounted to a Bike .

Interesting how useful a smart watch can be. I have always enjoyed lots of "real estate" for a screen to view for the types of riding that I do. We like to do off piste riding in areas without trails and find ways up a mountain and through vegetation. One area that we ride took years to find a way up without the navigation aids especially in dense forest. Having contours to determine the slope angles and being able to pull up a satellite photo to see whats behind a stand of trees opened up a whole new world, what would take me a year or so , to get familiar with now I am comfortable right from the get go. I look for the brightest screen in (nits) and largest (Pixel 9 xl pro).

View attachment 161176Done mine today, changed almost all the parts for itbut got it lowest pces becauseof that. Question: anyone know what size rear shock bushings do i need ? I want to change because removed from stock one just want to get newones for ohlins coil, just need to play with setup had first ride rear felt a bit flexing not sure if i like that, but definitely jumps better and more playfull than my old trek rail, well tomorrow proper of piste ride will put it to the proper test. So far i like it. Nonoises from battery or frame maybe because i just rebuild it :D
Hi there, what top cap did you replace the original Acros one with? Cheers

ARGH! FFS, #'*king ebikes...

Somewhere between leaving the house and arriving at the trail head the battery cover fell off my bike (whilst on the towbar bike rack) including the white battery tab near the motor:

Of course no one in the UK has the cover in stock AND the button at the top is a separate part too. So I've lost the cover, the white tab and the buttons.

I've ordered the cover and one half of the button from Ridewill in Italy, so fingers crossed their website stock was accurate.

I can't find the part number for the white tab in the exploded diagram.

Does anyone know this part and where I could get one?

In the meantime I've bought some 1.5mm thick Kydex (I love this stuff) and will fashion a temporary replacement so I can continue to ride.

Two 20km rides in Welsh autumnal conditions showed me what a terrible idea riding is when trying to keep the battery and terminals clean, plus the added danger of rock strikes on the battery, but the windows for riding were not to be missed!

Many thanks!

Firstly sorry for the rubbish video but we was trying to get the noise on camera the best we can... my bikes making this noise like your riding over a cattle grid when pedalling or freewheeling and i cant work out where its coming from, it sounds like the rear end to me.

it does it in all modes and off, it does it if im standing or sitting. It doesnt do it bouncing on it or when im off the bike. Ive checked all the bolts and shock mounts as well. If anyone has any ideas i'm all ears as its making me not want to ride it.

it also does it with the airshock as well as the coil.

Thanks

Have you tried different rear wheel?

I have stripped the freehub tonight and refitted the cassette. My first thoughts was the rear hub but there is no play or any noise from it when bouncing it off the bike. I cant make the noise by being off the bike at all, only when riding :(

My bike started rattling after brake update. The counter piece of the hose guide in chainstay had dropped inside the stay and was making quite annoying sound. Not like this though…

About to install this Alu plate and find my wiring routed on the front side of engine can anyone check there bikes and se if this is correct. Or do I need to drop engine and relocate?

I’d move that so it’s over the top and comes round from the rear. It should all tuck into the space where the plugs are

Thank you, have not dropped engine before but should not be to much worried I guess, engine bolts blue loctight and 30Nm right?

Good news:

Got the 400c in record time, looks good and installed in 2 minutes:

Not so good news: seem to have blown the damper on my Zeb, I have no rebound at all. Contacted the online vendor and will see what can be done, really hoping it doesn't have to go back to the shop (overseas) but that I could just drop the bike to a rockshox approved service center nearby.

Looks good that. Did it come with everything you need to fit it? I know there’s been some confusion as to what mounting plate is needed.
Did you have to remove the Purion wiring completely as well?

I got the complete kit (kiox+plate) from bike24 specific to the bike, it's linked on the previous page.

No instructions in box.
I unscrewed the old one, unclipped wire, clipped wire in new one, popped new one in, screwed... Had to connect the app at some point.

My wireless mini controller isn't pairing as I didn't unpair it from the old system ahead of time, so not that smooth a process.

If anyone makes the same mistake as me: pop the battery out of the controller for 30s, then when you put it back in immediately hold the - button for 5 seconds, this resets the pairing mode (flashing blue). You need to do this while the phone app is looking for a new device, in options-"ebike pass"

Hello everyone. I recently asked which wireless transmission is better for me to install. So, I bought a Shimano xt di2 8250 sgs kit, but I would like to install the ebike version of the rear derailleur. It has a direct connection to the bike battery. The problem is that you need to buy the cable separately. It is not available in large stores and the price is about 90€. Maybe someone has already installed this? How does it feel? Is it worth it?

Although I have yet to get my adapter plate (hopefully by next week) I have fitted a matte anti scratch and anti-glare screen protector to the my Kiox. I got them on Amazon if anyone else wants to do the same: search

brotect Anti-Glare Glass Screen Protector Matte compatible with Bosch Kiox 400C (3 Pack) - Anti-Scratch 9H Protection Film

Thanks everyone for the advice and content in this post, finally got my bike!
It's my first e-bike, went to it from normal enduro (Commencal MetaAM29).
First impression -wow! Is it even possible???? How??? It's flying up and down the hills! Mullet is so easy to handle in the corners.
Suspension and transmission -they work.
Dropper - it exists =(
Got some annoying sounds from rear triangle, it was expected, already got the locktight and torque wrench to fix it.
Also still need to install tubeless setup, already got everything needed for it.

To me it sounds as if inside your frame a screw came loose and rattling inside??? Once I had a stone in my rim that makes that sound. You do not hear it when dropping your bike because only rotation will move the stone

I have Question for forum Dwellers 😁
Was rather disappointed in New bikes battery range on yesterdays ride .
I've done this route many times and my gut feeling is the battery did not perform as it should have .
I've read in the past that previous generations of Bosch system sometimes reserve 10 percent of the battery of the front head light port is i"enabled"
Is this true if the Gen 5 motor system as I noticed on the screen that it's enabled on my new One77
If this is not the cause then I think I will have e to take it back to shop I purchased to get battery tested
Any help appreciated
Tam

I thought that as well but nothing happens when you shake the frame, even bike shop can’t see what’s wrong. I’m in two minds to get rid of it because it’s putting me off riding. The noise is that bad 😭

My battery took a few rides to calibrate.

Don't forget that our brake pads are still rattling.

I remember reading somewhere that a new battery gives a better range after the first few charge cycles. On my One77 I found the battery dropped to below 30% (orange lights) surprisingly quickly on the first couple of rides and after that I didn't see the orange lights so much. Of course other factors could have been at play, and I'm aware you had a new One77 prior to this one so I'm not suggesting any science here

Yup. This goes through the pedals and frame. Feels like something is tight and you’re trying to tighten it more but it never stops. Also feels like your riding over a cattle grid.
