For anyone wanting. Not due till October tho.
It takes the piss that we have to buy an extra bit. Why isn't it in the box with the display? Many people will be upgrading their System Controller on the top tube for the Kiox 400c.

There is no 440c it’s the 300/500/400

Because every bike manufacture has their own solution/design for integrating it into the top tube. It's not on Bosch to produce whatever extras required to mount it.

Good point. I was caught up in the ONE77ness of it all.

This helped me alot from pedalstrikes, went deep into suspension tuning and found that I had to much sag and now bike is alot higher when riding, this have bit not made any negative impacts on my riding ability or comfort.
I found the front shock setting to be important. I was having pedal strikes and found the bike to be almost unrideable on uphill technical single track with the rear shock setting closer to 30 than less than 20 mm sag. I now keep it <= 20mm

Interestingly the Fox Manual recommend a lower than average setting if you have the Fox 38 Rhythm grip, as follows:

Fox 38 Rhythm is designed around 15-20% sag

Anyone know the chain length I need for a xl xt group set ?
No but you can work it out. Essentially wrap the chain around the largest gear and the chain ring. Connect them together and in your case add 6/7 extra links. That should allow you to do what you need to. Start with the above at 7 and then remove one additional link if need be.

If anyone is curious. This is what the Kiox 400c looks like in situ without the adaptor plate. My theelectricbikeshop will have the adaptor plate in stock in a week or two, so will fit and update here.
Apparently I am one of the first to get the display (from their shop in Cardiff) and very hard to get hold of at the mo.

I got my display the other day. Just waiting on mtb monster to send me the bracket in next 2 weeks. Does look smart with the screen but it should have been like the Santa Cruz where no bracket is needed.

100%. They knew about it, like Santa Cruz, but didn't make the hole the correct size ready to retrofit the display. Disappointing. We'll possibly be the first two to get them on!

Hi! I’ve been following this post for a while and finally decided to buy my One77 SLX 2025. Once I receive it and make the first mods, I’ll share them here.

I have a question about the Kiox 400c display: is it plug & play? Any experiences? On the Ridewill website they told me that the kit can ONLY be activated through Bosch dealer diagnostics.

Great choice the SLX is a great bike.

RE the Kiox 400c: You'll need the Flow app to get the bike into pairing mode. I didn't go through the whole process as I need to use the stock System Controller until I get the screen adapter.

If were you, I would look at pre-ordering the adapter sap so you're not waiting. Apparently they are in short supply.

Just out of curiosity, what's all the fuzz about the Kiox display? Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I prefer simpler UI with less disturbing elements.

For me it's about being able to see the info I want without having to stop and get my phone out of bag. Getting a quick reference on the move.

I also didn't have the Purion or any other display with the bike.

If I didn't already have my purion I would be fitting the kiox so I'm happy to stick with the purion. I also use a garmin for maps which suits me fine. The purion on the bars is at the right position too.

For navigation, you're "stuck" with Flow app or can you mirror the screen from your mobile to Kiox?
I'm using garmin edge 1040 for navigation, notifications etc. from the phone. And smart watch..

I'm not sure I'll even use the navigation.

It uses the Flow app, but you can import a gpx file from some other app.

It'll be fine for getting from my house to another address but pointless for riding trails - which is the only place I ride.
Strava or Trailforks integration would be better.
