has anyone tried running the 930 in a mullet setup with 29 front and 27.5 rear?
I'm going to build my one in a mullet, with a 170mm fork up front on my wife's and 180 on my build, coil shock rear and I'm looking at 160mm crank arms. I ordered the frame and motor 20 days ago (but paint will be a while) I can let you know when it arrives and I start the build. With a longer axle to crown on the fork it should keep the bb height fairly similar. It should make the head angle a little steeper and the also the seat angle by around 1 degree. I'm also planning to run a 32t chainring and 10 Spd rear cassette with a little less range (11-42 or something).

I don’t know where you ride but I have a 34t 10-50 and I’m switching to 32t, because sometimes I need this extra power in very steep climbs

I recently got an older Norco VLT range and I have only used the top cog a few times and the second cog is 42t, It was more that I could have a medium cage rear derailleur, my non e-bike is a Zerode with a belt and gearbox, I was thinking mainly for more clearance as some of these mechs now hang pretty low and also have a bit less unsprung weight with a smaller cassette too? I'd be running a 27.5 rear wheel that also makes a bit of difference to the gearing. I checked a calculation website and a 27.5 inch wheel with a 32t front and 42t rear cog cassette is almost the same as a 29" wheel with a 36t front and 50t cassette cog with one rotation of the pedals being 21" on both set ups.

I had no idea of that difference between the 27.5 and the 29!
Thanks for the link

So getting some really nice builds here already! The ones that didn't buy the motor kit from light-carbon, where did you buy it?

anybody tried full 27.5? is it possible with this frame?
That’s always possible. But the BB hight will be lowered significantly, appr. 20mm. And the BB of the frame is allready low. You could only compensate with longer shock (216mm) and longer travel fork with increased Axle to Crown length.

Nice. I was thinking of using 155 cranks. Not sure if 216mm fits? That'd be great if it does!

You have to check it with the frame, or maybe someone here is willing to do with a 216 shock at hand. Then You have to be careful with shock stroke - 60 mm max I would guess, compressed length 156mm. @TCFlowClyde is running 210x55, compressed length 155 mm with no problems. (Yet 😂).
Edit: Uuupppssss - its a CEF50 frame - sorry. So You have to investigate shock stroke on Your own…
