M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

So there are two different m820 motors? One for 36v and one for 43v?

There are two versions of M820, one is 36V, the other is 43V, the same motor, but the voltage is different.

Thank you very much for clarifying that issue!!!

I’ve just placed an order on a frame for a L size, now comes the waiting !

I hope it will be like M510 FC 2.0 version. can be tuned parameter.
How much can you "tune" your M510?

Cause that would be nice to truly tune the M820 too!

Or at least have a Bafang-e app for the smartphone to more easily tune power mode levels on the fly like Fazua60, TQ50, and RS60. Afterall, the BEEST is awesome technology....for the 1980s!😁

Come on Bafang-e! Get the smart user-app running ASAP!💰

Honestly, riding all 3 of those aforementioned systems, I just maxed 'em for more fun! Sure max sucks the battery quicker, but that's what the range extender is for.😁

Anyway, that's my plan on the M820-75 as well! Just with an 8-10 lb lighter Enduro e-rig🤙

It’s nice to see the final product!
Do you know when bafang will do his testing with the frame?
Also, what’s planned for the remote / screen ?

the motor M820 have two vesions, 36V/ 43V, so the main battery also have two vesion: BT F100 36V 360wh and BT F014 410wh, and extended battery we find one is 36V 360wh, can not find any one with 43V,
Display you can choose DP E180/181, DP C262/263, and DP C244/245 is also ok,

the Bafang company will get the frames in next Monday, but I don't know when they finish the testing

Just wondering, what 36V range extender can be used with BT F100 36V 360wh battery ??
Does it have to be any specific, or those kind of ''universal'' ones will be ok ?

Thanks

if you choose the motor M820 and battery BT F100 36V 360wh,the normal extended battery is ok, only request the connector of the battery has the same connector as that of the Bafang charger.

How will the extender connect to main battery or motor?
Now we choose the extended battery connect the main battery, not motor, if connect it direct to motor, It request a one-to-two plug and a power select controller. We haven't solved this problem yet. The current solution is to connect the extended battery directly to the charging port of the Bafang battery. The advantage is that it is convenient and does not require additional operations. The disadvantage is that such batteries in series will have a certain impact on the service life of the main battery.

Bafang agree this solution ?

l idéal et mettre un séparateur de batteriel ideal and put a battery separator

Hi Guys,

First at all: Nice looking Frame!
BUT?
I am a bit Confused, Straight Tube? Can you Show me a Fork for 27.5" or 29" wheels with more than 120mm of Travel with a Straight Tube?

you can see the Head Tube also on this Video very well, it really Looks Like 44mm upper and lower part. Or i am wrong?

That's a good remark, I did not even notice it, I was quite sure it was OK for a tapered fork.
I guess you can use this kind of adapter ? 44MM INTERNAL X EXTERNAL 1.5 INCH HEADSET CUP
But will it impact the cable routing ?

Ask Jim at LC of course. But, I think it's likely a typo...the head tube is conical and probably for a tapered steerer tube. (Although even a lesser conical head tube could still use a straight one...but it's rare in my personal experience.)

But I think a reducer on straight steerer MIGHT present internal cable routing issues from the IRC headset.

(The reducer should sit flush with the bottom of the top bearing well.)

Just FYI: Plus, those reducers are usually heavier aluminum block disc inserts. I'd guess adds another 200+ g?

Bottomline clarify with Jim?

Yep, you’re totally right, we’ll see tomorrow his answer

Also, Jim, can you confirm the rear shock sizing? Can we fit only 185x55?
For the fork, can you confirm you recommend 150/160mm in travel ?

I got this from Jim with a similar question.
"2. I just confirmed with the technicians that the eye-to-eye distance of 205mm is too long for the frame design itself. If the standard mount is installed, the longest can only be 190mm."

The data "Straight 1 1/2"" is the for head tube, the fork request tapered forks, the rest space of head tube is use for inner cables,

the eye to eye length is only 185mm, so the recommend shock is 185*55mm, and if use standard mount, the eye to eye can be 190mm, But the small top of the standard mount shock can easily bend the bolt,
