M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

A very interesting frame from a well-known brand. Why is your frame so heavy? What is the weight of the frame without battery and motor?
I should have copied that info from their website. The weight is 2950g. I updated the first page.

Hey Jim, what's the rear travel max on the 185 x 55 shock for this frame? Do you have a graph to illustrate the leverage curves? Thx
front travel 150-160mm, rear thravel 150mm, the leverage curves need later, We need to wait for the complete vehicle test of Bafang Company. They chose our frame and used it to assemble their products as exhibits in March. Their engineers made some small suggestions for our frame.

A rough calculation of the weight after spraying the transparent paint is 2950±45g/Medium,In fact, the weight of the frame could be reduced by 500g if more control was used in the weight control, but doing so would cause some parts of the frame to be weak, so we strengthened these weak points. This is the best cost performance for the factory, and it will not increase the cost due to after-sales service.

When will the M820 motor kits ship from Bafang?

Now we are still communicating with Bafang Company, we want to get an ideal price, and Bafang Company also wants to get our frame, so we need to wait for the completed test of Bafang Company in March.

Bafang will make a battery extender for the M820 then?

size S available?

What kind of riding style is the frame designed for? Is it possible to jump and ride it in the enduro style as on the dengfu E10 frame?
it's all-mountain, The main feature of the ultra-light EMTB is its all-terrain ability and multi-style play. It is not a dedicated enduo bike. Therefore, although it can jump, it is not recommended to be used exclusively for downhill and jumping.

1. Because the motor and battery are relatively light, so need keep the center of gravity at a reasonable position.
2. Ensure the pedaling frequency of the motor in assist mode.
3. In the case of no electricity, it can be used as an ordinary MTB bicycle for uphill traffic.
4.The BB height of 335mm is not short for AM,

Why didn't you make a small cover on the pipe so that users could change the battery? You have seen the new dengfu M820 frame. Dengfu made a removable battery.

The auxiliary battery is not connected to the main battery, but used separately, and the auxiliary battery is directly connected to the motor, and only one of the two batteries can be used at a time.

Not sure yet, our biggest difficulty is that the Bafang battery is 43V, so the motor is also 43V, which requires the backup battery to be 43V, but, the battery manufacturer said they only supply battery 36V. the battery box only can put 10*2 cell, 36V*10AH, not 12*2 cells, 43*10ah,

Hello everyone, jim is here!

In March, we will find a way to order and stock some M820 motor and battery kits for low-volume buyers, and now we are still negotiating with Bafang company, Bafang company will assemble two EMTB with our LCE930 frame in March for the exhibition.

In addition, we are also looking for reliable suppliers for the extended battery ( bottle cage battery). At present, it seems that with 21700 batteries, the maximum capacity can be 36V* 10.5ah,

In addition, in order to allow personal buyers and small quantuty buyers to get the frame faster, we are going to launch a group purchase plan. Because of the company's operating policy, we will supply the frame to batch customers in a limited amount, so I will submit an order for every 20 frames.
I had sent a purchase request for the L-frame to Light Carbon and Carol had replied and named mid-March as the delivery date. Is it faster here with the collective order?

The M820 can also run off 36v. I know it is better to use higher voltage but would not using 36v solve the extra battery problem?

he mean Bafang battery is the problem. They only provide 43v battery. M820 have 3 option 36v, 43v and 48v. So maybe Lightcarbon have to think make their own battery case.

Bafang makes the intube BT F050 36v for the M820, also the BT F116

yes, M820 have 36V, but the main battery is BT F014 410wh, it's 43V, that's the problem, To keep the main battery and the motor consistent, it is best to use 43V,

That is unfortunate for me. I will be solar charging my bike which requires 36v or 48v not 43v. So I must use 36v. :(

I consulted Bafang Company, whether it is possible to use a 36V M820 motor with a 43V BT F014 battery, but they did not answer me positively.
