Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

Just came across this, I'm not aware when it was posted on either website but suspect it was over the past day or so.

I couldn't see this when logged in this afternoon either (on CRC)

Given they say they will fulfil orders should that give us hope? I think most credit-card companies suggest giving retailers 7 days~ to try and resolve any problems...so I'm still tempted to wait and see for a bit.

Has anyone managed to successfully cancel their order with CRC/Wiggle?
Nope - CRC advised as it's with the courier now, they can't cancel. I'm tempted to return it for a refund (or credit card company charge back) IF I do receive the bike as it seems I'll have no warranty cover unless someone buys out CRC/Wiggle and takes on all their warranty liabilities.

@Rob Rides EMTB do you have a contact at CRC to get any info from. Mainly how long till we find out what's going on?
Sadly not. My contact would be with the marketing team. And this is a much wider scale issue, that would be virtually impossible for them to comment.

The company is now being run by administrators.

In the hope that everyone gets this latest batch of bikes !!!!

Tried the VR with the 180 Zeb yesterday. Also felt great ! Used more travel (almost bottoming out) than the 38's but had sag at 30% and 20% on the Fox. The bike felt slightly better balanced on the 38's, especially over drops and jumps and more supportive in the turns, but that's probably just because the Zeb's need more dialling in.

I'm starting to think the TRP's feel better with the Tektro disks rather than the Shimano Ice Tech's for some reason ! Though yesterday's ride was just torrential rain, so there could have been other factors.

Had some assistance issues (5 cranks before you really got what you wanted) I believe this is due to me setting Acceleration to "1" in Go+ after Go+ erased all the config settings. Felt fine in the garden, felt awful out in the real world !

ArrowXL returning all bikes in their possession to CRC/Wiggle.
Refunds unknown.
I have opened investigation with my credit card company for a chargeback, in order to get a refund. This could take months and i'm without an e-bike for all of that time :(

No more bikes to be delivered for any existing orders is what i've been told.
Best of luck to everyone trying to get refunds!!

I don't blame you, but unrealistic to expect cover from a company that's gone bump.

Don't get me wrong, I feel your pain but at least you have an avenue to getting your money back. There are people who will lose their livelihood over this. Having been in their place, they're at the top of my sympathy list right now, followed by the poor sods who bought stuff that doesn't arrive without the protection you have and end up on the creditors list getting nothing.

Yep, my ArrowXL tracking has been updated to:

27-Oct 10:07Dispatched To Client Return Site

So close yet so far...I don't really understand from a business perspective why this makes sense? oh well :/

If we have credit-cards, should we go via chargeback of section-75 route? I'm assuming CRC will mess us about :)

Thanks for the heads-up. Hopefully, all concerned will get their money back. Also, really sad time for the staff affected by this turn of events, my thoughts go out to those at this somewhat difficult time.

It’s important to remember that Administration doesn’t mean the company has ceased trading, as of now it’s still more valuable as a going concern if internal restructuring or refinancing isn’t sufficient to make it a solvent company again, and a buyer is sought.

It’s difficult to know what’s going on with the bikes in transit being returned, perhaps they’re being pulled back to realise maximum assets for disposal should the company cease trading and everything is sold off to pay debts/tax etc.

I hope they sort something out, I imagine sales must be in free fall as who wants to order from a mail order company when you can’t be sure you’ll get what you’ve ordered.

People were still ordering bikes last night and you can still buy one now. Which I think considering the situation some of us are in, is really bad.

Yes, don’t disagree, it could be that it’s more to do with a dispute between Arrow XL and CRC over payments than getting high value bikes back to the warehouse.

I’d have thought the cash in the bank was key right now, rather than stock sitting about, so could be they’ll be re-dispatched via a different courier.

I’m just guessing though, like everybody else.

I was wasting my time with another live CRC chat just now about my order. They "guarantee" me that the bike is still with ArrowXL and will be delivered....even though ArrowXL is saying the opposite. :ROFLMAO:
