No you need a windows pc, because you also need the tq software installed on it, and the tq software is only available for Windows - as far as I know anyway.

Thanks to a good friend over here, I was sent a dongle so last night I updated my bike to the latest settings/firmware.
Was quite easy actually and I also ran a diagnostics and service report. No issues which was great.

Ive just realised this morning that each battery will need to be updated seperatly so thats tonights job as I have 2 x 360wh TQ batteries.

Any chance you could share your setup? My dongle won't connect to bike on Mac (Apple Silicon) via Wine or Parallels. About to try UTM with x64 emulation.
It‘s not my setup but that from my LBS.
I have once watched them do an update to the TQ50 on my wife’s Scott. I could see they used a Mac but didn’t recognize the virtualization software used.
Thanks. I narrowed it down to a driver issue with Apple Silicon. I believe it should work fine on Intel Macs but not ARM-based ones.
Try emailing [email protected]. Tell them the registration page isn't working and you just need access to the DST tool, not the web shop. My guess is this is just a web site bug. In my experience it is just the dealer pricing that they really care about locking down.
I sent an email to TQ group yesterday, the return :
"No, if you are not a dealer, it is not possible to update per dongle.
But we are working on an over the air update. That will be an option about the end of the year. Then you can Update your bike per Phone.
But until that is available you will still have to go to your dealer."
It good news for the update on the phone but i can't use my Dongle...

Hello, would it be possible for someone to share their working username and password for the TQ E-Bike Portal? It hasn't been allowing me to register for a few days. I have the update tool, but I can't use it to update my e-bike.

It's now possible to register again. Now, what's happening is that the TQ Dealer Tool doesn't recognize me, as if I'm missing the driver. Does this happen to anyone else? I have W11 Pro.

Make sure you're using the newest version of the dealer tool, they stopped support for version 1.x a few weeks ago. Only version 2.x works now. You can download it from the tq website

Yes, I have the latest version of the app, which you can currently download from the TQ E-Bike Portal.

Ah OK, I can't offer any more help then, the dealer tool worked for me on windows 11 pro a couple of days ago. Maybe give it a day and try again?

I am about ready to update, I receive the dongle today, my account at TQ is OK, the app is install and works ... before I proceed, I have a last question, where I can not found any answer : do I have to remove , disconnect the Speedfun Ribelle module ? if not what can perhaps happened, (I prefere not move the motor, it was very difficult to remount when I install the module)

Robby! You legend! I followed this thread, sighed up as a 'dealer', bought a Service Dongle .... and then tore my hair out. Tried for an hour to get the service dongle to make a connection to the bike, to no avail .... until I saw your post.
Drivers installed, problem solved ... bike now updated!

Hi all. I have 2023 Scott Solace eRide 20 and just updated it to the latest firmware via the Service Dongle/ Dealer Service Tool.
Curiously, before the update, when connecting via the phone app, the max watts available were 300W.
Now after the update, the max is only 255W.
Anyone else seen this?
