I have, but I only had 1 ride before I left home for a few weeks. That ride was good. No issues with the motor. I have the BESST tool so set it up before the ride with the parameters I thought would be good.

Loads of power, not noisy and felt like a decent e-motor should.

Like I said it was only 1 ride of about 20km.

What weight does it come in at? Keen to hear your feedback on the motor as I'm thinking about ordering a CEF69 + M510RS
 
How do you buy this frame? I have tried contacting them directly through their website to get a price multiple times and never got an answer...

You mean to SZZS? They've been on Chinese New Year vacation and Jean said they're back to work Monday, I'm about to ask her about the CEF69 + M510RS so will see what she says

Oh I never thought about CNY. Thanks for your input. I will wait to get some news. Anyone has an idea of how much a frame set with battery and motor would cost?

somewhere between 1700-2200 usd i think some people have to pay a lot more for shipping/duties, contacting them through alibaba is easier

The total weight, as shown in the photo, is 23.3kg, of which 6.2kg is just for the wheels (aluminum rims, tires, liquid sealant and cassette).
The electric compartment includes the M510RS motor, an 835Wh battery with carbon case, the DPC030 display integrated into the top tube and remote control on the handlebars.
It's built quite hard, including Maven brakes, so you can easily trim the weight by adding other components, depending on your intended use.

that is a nice Lightweight weight for a m510 bike with big battery..

my latest e82 coil build is almost 27kg
carbon rims, tire inserts and front/rear coil suspension

With my carbon mullet light enduro wheelset weighing 4.5kg I'd be down to 21.6kg like for like, pretty awesome for a 110nm machine.
And whats your feedback on the M510RS so far?
 
Another question on the M510 (and M510RS i assume), whats the durability like on the plastic gears? Are there metal upgrade options if someone wants to go that route?
 
non issue- never broke one in 5 years


you dont want steel as the gear is small and it would make the whole engine very noisy

it's M size, using 150mm seatpost can do fill insert.

Planning to build this frame and just finalizing some thing.
Are there smaller other battery that will fit in the tube that are being sold?
Will be getting the 800wh but I also want to add another spare thats somewhere between the 280wh and 700wh.
The idea is to be able to change between mid and large battery. Mostly for weight puposes.
If 280wh is the only available spare, I'd be down to fit it on the tube if possible.

It would also be nice if they could allow fitment of a suitable UL (2271) certified battery for those that require / desire such. I have made some enquiries but hit a wall of silence. I'm close to pulling the trigger on an Amflow PL but would love to build up a CEF.

Looking at the battery for CEF, i think they'll need a new mold for a smaller casing and fit fewer cells. Wished they could or maybe in the future if the demand is high, they will make it.

copy the dimesion of the battery case and make it shorter with 3d print and do DIY
 
Who would be the best person to reach out to in order to get some more info about this frameset ? Delivered to Poland.

Also, what would your guys`s recomendation be in terms of the motor, M560 or M510 ( both would have to be the newest versions )

So, I got my parcel a couple of weeks back. It all looks good. They did make new rivnuts for the RS wheel speed sensor. Not to fond of it. Also, I am going to try to use the Bosch ABS sensor, so I am not going to use them.

The paint is really soft. I don’t think it got a clear coat. I consider to strip the bike again and have a clear coat applied.

Overall quite happy with what I got.

My steering bar would accept cables for the throttle and selector.
Did anyone route the electrical wiring trough the bar? Can you share some pictures?

In a very similar CEF55 frame I am runnig 38T front sprocket.
Due to excessive play in lower/rear motor mounting bolt, had to put 0,7mm thick distance at non drive side - so motor moved about 0,7mm to the right. Also I have chamfered sprocket a bit on inside so now have about 2mm of the clearance to the back arm.
