So did you see any flying saucers? The sign clearly shows a metallic UFO flying over the landscape. 🛸
Nope, no saucers yet. But there’s some kind of alien running around our trails wearing a white head-band and white thing in his ears.
Very very dangerous. 😉 Hopefully a sign for that soon.

Went to Mogo Trails about 4hrs south of Sydney and what a fantastic ride. Had an absolute ball. Favourite run was "Big Dog's Bone". So much speed. So much air.

Rode with this new guy James. OMG he was fast downhill and wow, did he have skills on his 180/170 Giant Reign. I managed a graceful second fastest downhill in the group of 5. But on the climb up, the Amflow just smoked them. I was 3-4 mins quicker on the climb and only using Trail Mode.

I am riding so much more aggressively now and have pinched rear tubes in 3 of the last six rides, despite increasing tyre pressure to 28psi. So I have fitted Tannus Amour Insets to the rear wheel, with 60gram TPU tubes. This means I can still run the really grippy DHR 2 rear tyre with EXO casings. Total weight increase compared to going to tubeless, sealant and DD casings, is only about 100 grams.

All reports say this should fix the puncture issue.

Well done. You threw me there for a second with the time of the post at 1:44 am .

You tried cushcore tubeless and radials? You can run a higher pressure on the radial and the cushcore works wonders. Food for thought.
Whilst I still may run cushcore tubeless if the Tannus proves unsatisfactory. The couple of reasons to try the Tannus Inserts are.

1) The inserts actually wrap right around the tyre wall and tuck into the bead. This really strengthens the tyre wall.
2) With the inserts strengthening the tyre walls, I can run EXO casings, but the walls still provide as much support as DD casings, and EXO casings are about half the price of DD casing in the same tyre.
3) Because the tyre is so much cheaper, I can run really soft compound, because it doesn't matter that it wears so much quicker.
4) The Tannus inserts were $AUD50. Cushcore were AUD$120.
5) I get great spike protection with the 15mm barrier between the tyre and tube.
6) I really hate using sealant.
7) The Tannus Inserts act as run flats, up to 10kph, if you do puncture.

The only downside is the slight extra weight, and the possibility to tear the lighter tyre walls. But to date. I have never damaged tyre walls.
