what a difference 30 odd miles south makes ..having said that within a couple of miles of leaving Kielder I experienced the same kind of blue skies..

What's the Gorilla tape covering? Did you move your display?

Charge port cover fell off. The tape is to keep mud out until I can get a new one.

Looks like too much weight over the front so an 'unplanned dismount'?

This is one of the most difficult features on the trail as riders often go into it too fast. When I do it, I front brake at least 1/4 of the way down it otherwise you can get too much speed by the time you hit the bottom and the inevitable G-OUT will compress your fork very quickly if you are not able to push out hard enough. They don't call it the Boogieman for nothing!

Yeah, with all the heavy rain we've been getting most everything has turned into gloopy mud or ice-rink quality slippery chalk.

It’s been muddy at the start & ends of trails and sloppy in the open parts of trails but still dry and in some cases dusty in the cover of the trees . Don’t think it’ll last much longer though, once the ground becomes saturated
