Im out east now. Bit of a culture shock after 30+ yrs in banff,canmore and revy. The trails here dont really compare

An entire day swapping the front tyre. Could not for the life of me get the valve to seal. Taped and retaped, killed my floor pump, had to buy another, still no success. Tyre on, tyre off, tyre on again. Eventually found a tip to grease the rubber base of the valve to help drive it further & more equally into the hole & at last, it sealed. I love hate/tubeless.

Rode from Reading to Swindon on The Ridgeway on Sunday. First time out on my new bike.

I have just got the 2022 but I haven’t sold my 2021 Trance X E+ yet so a mate and I decided to ebike the 66kms.

Was great fun but hard not to keep looking at the battery life albeit they are 625/750.

The long climbs were still quite testing but knowing I could crank up the power meant I often didn’t.

Had a slight issue as the new bike lost one of the bolts holding the seat on. A few cable ties made it just about stay together for the last 33km.
