Increasing Assit Levels with Steps Unlocker

Hi,

I'd like to ask a question about the setting where you can change the assist level of the various modes. I have a E7000 and according to Esteps unlocker my boost mode is working at 60 Nm torque and around 200% assist level. I understand that, while it is possibe to increase the torque to 70 Nm by this software, it is not recommended, as the motor can get destroyed, probably due to thermal problems. However I haven't seen any remarks about the assist percentage. Apparently I am on high boost but the software tells me I can increase it to 300%. Now, my gut tells me that it still could be dangerous for the motor, but I haven't ssen any comments on that. What do you think about it? Did anyone increase their assit levels?

You can increase your assist safely, all it will do is consume more battery.

Thanks for the reply. I try to understand the effect of changing the assist percantage will have on the riding experience. I have checked the software today and saw that it allows you to increase it to 500%. Now, does it mean, compared to the 238% that I have now, it will be 2 times easier to pedal? How is that possible without increasing the power of the motor?
