To be honest from an Australian perspective you already have a good deal in the Luna cycle. We have a company here "pirez" I believe is a re-badged Luna cycle complete bike with aluminium frame older style for $3995au. I have already spent $5036.53 for the cheeb. I still need tyres, brakes, handle bars dropper post, saddle, pedals and a bell. I'm sure thats not everything. I guess the piont is if we could by a Lune cycle here (we can't for the moment covid issues I guess) it would work out close to the same price as it is costing me to build. (Except for shipping)

Can anyone share any of your favourite online bike store that delivers to Italy?

My original idea was to emulate Rob's mullet set up but as my frame is the small frame, I am not sure how that will end up.

Any suggestions on a good suspension set up for my small frame (15.5" frame) with me being 171 cm?

not planning to do any knarly stuff on the bike so maybe a 150mm travel front and back will suffice?

Hello everyone I'm new on here.

I ordered E10 a couple of days ago. If you don't get a reply from Dengfu first time then try again, my first email went unanswered for a week, then I resent and received reply following morning. Melody said they will ship out my frame at end of April, Dengfu are prioritising shipping in order of when you pay, apparently a lot of people ordering right now, probably due to Rob's YT videos, hope you're on commission Rob

I ordered extra battery, which incurred additional $120 shipping charge, so second batt not quite the bargain I expected but still less than half the price of main brand batteries.

Going to call mine a 'Clevo'. People have done some gorgeous paint jobs in this thread, but I'll leave the matt UD finish because it's easier, looks stealth and doesn't collect stone chips like paint, I'll make up some nice decals.

I've done a couple of China carbon XC builds before which went very well, but this will be my first e-bike. Been looking around for forks, shock, wheels etc, not seeing much cheap around right now, and prices likely to rise as we come into Spring. I think Rob got some nice prices, he got in at the right time.

Thinking to order carbon 29" wheels on DT Swiss 350 hubs/Sapim CX Ray spokes from Carbonal, I already have a set from them which have been rock solid but they're not boost, PITA to have to buy another set.

ALso bike-discount.de is OK, but during my buying no extra prices. I also found that a lot of parts are quite cheaper on local market, so maybe Italy as strong cyclo country is same. Bike24.de delivery is 3-4 days (if in stock), bike-discount longer (said on item +1-2 week shipping, depend country 2 country).

Note, that due current covid situation the stocks are empty and ususal winter sale is not happening. Maybe something, f.e. bike24.de has a sale tommorow. But you need to access page daily.

I think also 216xXX will work with offset bushing, but i wait till somebody confirm/deny . 216x55(60) can be more available . Also there is way to use coil version ( i dont found any vivid on stock). Or cheaper shock (not from ultimate but select plus)-> ebay/discounts from 150e. OK when you dont run downhills for long
2-4 drivertrain - i found discount on XT family 2021 (12 speed) for 200eur, so i selected instead SLX (SLX was for 159, not available in slovakia due supply issues). I think that 10s can be better for motorized bike, but lets try and see...

2-4. Rob selected SLX family, in slovakia i manage to have XT 12 price discount for 200e, so i have changed casette shifter and chain for XT (all is mentioned as XT 8100 here). Make sure which family you buy because mount is different. I selected Shimano-EV mount for all.
For cassette I selected Microspline option.

I buy mostly from AliExpress. Rock shock Yari 160mm boost $488au. Very happy with my experience. I know they are only Yari but at my age I doubt I will notice the difference. It's like step son telling me to get 4k or 5k tv. I don't have 4k eyes so waste of money☺.

I just noticed, any specific reason you're going for 27.5 vs a 29er?

Planning to do a mullet set up but my frame size is the smallest size so not sure how that will effect the handling.

Hi everybody,

I am just starting to get my part list all together and I am looking for information concerning the dropper post length.
I ordered a seize M (17") frame and I see on the spec sheet that BB-to-top of seat post is 440mm.
My intention is to buy/install the OneUp 180mm Dropper V2 which requires 267mm insert. My usual seat length is 745mm.
From the pure figures I could even squeeze a 210 Dropper in (insert 297mm) if that works on frame seize M with one or two shims,
but that would be a little over the top.

Question: checking the spec sheet it looks that there is no restriction pretty much down to the motor limiting the dropper insert length.
Could someone having the bike(-frame) have a look what insert length there is, please. As spec is identical with regards to geometry,
frame seize will lengthen the top part of the seat tube only. And there are 40mm difference between seizes.

I have a friend who lives in Shanghai, the eBay company selling the E10 tell me they will ship the frame,motor, battery to Shanghai at a cost of £1500, of course I then need to get it from Shanghai to the UK, So I imagine with shipping, VAT & import duty I am looking at £2000 plus.
