120 Nm update for the Bosch CX and CX Race Announced

I don't know what you guys are complaining about.

I went for a pace battery burner ride last night in 120nm, 750w, 600% mode and it was a freaken monster. I was breaking hard up technical single track. Beat my pb on a 7min climb by 1 min. On the double track and gravel road up i'm 2 to 3 gears up on my 70nm and 90nm modes.

Warping tight single track was a freaken hoot with that low down grunt out of the corners.

There's definitely a step change more power and speed thats realized on the trail. I personally cant tell when 600% kicks back down to 400% if feels all the same to me, im hauling up the hills.

So even though im typically riding 70nm mode I do see the enjoyment in this update for full warp sessions and technical climbing challenges.

Is it as powerful as the dji? no. Do i care. No.
My biggest annoyance i have is that nz allows 45kph cut out and bosch is still at 32kph cut out. The DJI, shimano lads just peal away on the mild down above my motor cut. I'd enjoy the 45kph for some of those mild downs

Hey. I know you all went through this on May 4th but I'm just doing the update now and it keeps failing to sync on the bike. (Merida eone eighty) I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app, tried multiple times, waited 24 hours etc.

Is it really just a matter of keep uninstalling/installing until it works?
What's the most anyone had to do it for?

By the sounds of it it may not even be worth the hassle 🤷

Imho it does not make a (big) difference. Sure it depends on your own power-input but you will not feel any major changes.

But to solve your technical problem, did you also delete the bike in your bluetooth connection in the phone settings? Usually this is also a factor when you delete the app from the phone and reconnect it.

Ahhh no I did not! I'll give that a go. Thanks.

Edit: Update. I did the Bluetooth delete, deleted the app, reinstalled, updated and still no luck. Maybe for another day or maybe I'll just be grateful for my 100nm.

I actually rode mine for the first time yesterday. I'm injured so it's just on a couple of jumps and steep hills next to my home.

Anyways, it sure is powerful, just flies up hills and barely even feels like a bike, and I only have one operational knee at the moment!

That said, the 20mph speed limit is a real thing. The top 2 gears I lose assistance on anything over around 65 rpm cadence. 25 mph would be quite functional.

I can't test it unfortunately. Lapierre don't support the update on the overvolt 4.6 so I'm capped at 100!

My update is still not available. I have tried all of the resets etc.
Must be at the end of the release que i guess.
I emailed Bosch - they blamed Cube
I emailed Cube - they blamed Bosch
I took it to the bike shop - they blamed Bosch and Cube
LOL - WTF oh well, i am really looking forward to it regardless, glad to hear users having a positive experience with the update (as in the bikes performance)
For now, i will continue to read on with jealousy :)

Dont stress, as expected - such high assist and torque use alot of battery.
