120 Nm update for the Bosch CX and CX Race Announced

I found new Flow app version in Gooogle Play Store.. updated the app, connected to eBIke and updated the bike. All fine without any issues. Much better experience than with the 120 Nm update.
I still can't see the app update in Google Play, but Bosch has now published the new version on their website.

It’s also available for download/ upgrade on the (Apple) App Store, at least in my country (although Bosch warns, in its website, that “it may take several days for the update to appear” both in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store)…

Update was there for me when I woke up this morning around 730. (USA)
Installed w/o incident. No time to try it out thunderstorms all day here.

Just a regional update, Visit your shop.(for NZ only, We dont get here in Aus)

For those waiting on android, you can update flow app via aptoide.
Wonder why NZ gets it but the States don’t? It isn’t illegal here. The speed limit is my only complaint about this motor especially comparing it to the Levo 4.

My update came through today. This is one I really care about as I dislike overrun.

The other feature that removes chain slack for faster motor engagement, I wonder if that will notably effect rear suspension performance? I'm sure it's a nice feature to have for the technical climbers.

Seems like these motors really have a lot of adjustability and features these days.

I sold my old Cannondale with the Bosch Gen4 motor for a Levo 4 for my wife due to getting a great deal. Comparing it to my Santa Cruz Vala that I bought earlier this year I didn't think that the Class 3 mode would be that appealing but I think that's now one of the features I like the most about the Levo. I hope Bosch gives us the option in the future. Have them add the big warning sign that comes up on the Levo when you change it putting the responsibility on the owner.

I've updated my app and bike. Still at 32kph, I took the bike to the bike shop and they have sent a request away to bosch. Bosch then need approval from the manufacturer. So its hurry up and wait for that approval. The bike shop guys seems to know about the updated and speed increase so it seems legit.

PS, The speed increase sounds like it needs to be a firmware update at the bike shop. So vpn guys are probably out of luck.

Painful for it not to be OTA update

Trek and bosch are sorted so no request, just go to your local bosch/trek dealer once.
Yeah, I'm running a Crestline. So boutique import into NZ. Not as straight forward as locally supported brands. So hurry up and wait for me.

No biggie really. That is the price i pay for going boutique and imported.

Hello, anybody experienced after the update some rattling noise coming from the motor when riding around cutoff speed?
Before upgrade I experienced only a light "clank".

Yes, I've noticed it too. There's a strange rattling/clunking noise that almost makes it sound like there's something wrong with the motor. I hear it not only around the cut-off speed, but also on steep climbs under load since the latest update.

Ok, I'm not alone, I already sent a request to Bosch through Flow help center.
Let's see what they'll say...
