Garbage update in my opinion.I also find quite annoying motor freewheel noise when chain tensioner is working, hope next update will come soon, so I can disable![]()
I cannot agree at the moment, I just want to see how much useful is chain tensioner, so to choose if I can live with noise or notGarbage update in my opinion.![]()
Is it not possible to revert to the previous version? IMO all updates on any device/machine should be reversible because they often introduce more cons than pros!Yeah, it's really annoying. I honestly regret installing the update...
OK I finally got the latest Flow app. update via Play Store but so far no corresponding update for the bike. Can anyone confirm there is a bike update associated with version 1.36.5 because when I check out the riding modes in the Flow app. in the "Advanced" section I'm not seeing an "Extended Boost option, just the "Dynamic".![]()

Thanks for that but given the update only just popped up in Play Store, it was not there first thing this morning, I will give it a bit of time to see if the bike part appears automatically.Try to delete Flow app data from app menu.
You'll have to login again when you do it, it worked for me with the last update, I couldn't see it until I did so.
What on earth are you meant to be running on the extended boost for each mode??
Auto default is 1, emtb+ default is 8 and turbo is also 1…how are you meant to decipher this??
What was it at (behind the scenes) before the update?? Is emtb+ default being 8 a bug and everything was 1? Meaning extended boost wasn’t really a thing before the update?
So confusing. So Bosch.
For general riding I dont need the 45kph until it comes to racing and riding with other dudes on 45kph bikes. If everyone was at 32kph i'd be happy. But when a guy has a 45kph limit and i have 32kph limit in an enduro race thats a fair advantage they have. Also when riding with dudes with 45kph and they just peel off ahead its a pain in the arse...I have to say, as a Kiwi, it’s nice to see the 45kmh update to Bosch.
It’s the only thing that has ruled out a Bosch powered bike for my next purchase (although that could be quite a long time off yet).
Riding a Shimano with 45kmh cutoff has changed the way I feel about top assist speeds.
I don’t use 45kmh often, but am often above 32kmh on both fire roads and certain trails. TBH my Shimano suits me just fine, despite the clacking. More torque would be nice though. And the Bosch certainly has that. For general riding I dont need the 45kph until it comes to racing and riding with other dudes on 45kph bikes. If everyone was at 32kph i'd be happy. In the ideal world i have 1 or two settings with the 45kph and the other 2 at 32kph.
Yeah the 600%/ 120nm/750w is a fair chunk more than shimano 85nm/600w/400%.I don’t use 45kmh often, but am often above 32kmh on both fire roads and certain trails. TBH my Shimano suits me just fine, despite the clacking. More torque would be nice though. And the Bosch certainly has that.

Yeah, that would suck.Dont complain. Here in EU we still only have 25kph and it sucks
I found a feature last night I didn't know i had.
Back pedal gear changing. .... wtf?
I thought it was motor run on at first. But no, it only happens with a slight back pedal.
if you coast and then do a slight back pedal the motor spins the chainring forward several revolutions without any drive and you can change gear coasting while coasting without pedalling foward.
Weird, Its an odd feature.

I was reading how the freewheel tensioner works and that's pretty much what was happening. So a by product of the freewheel tensioner is that you can change gear while its cycling forward while coasting.Interesting, will have to give that a go, updated mine with the extended boost and chain tensioner feature this evening but too late (and too hot!) to go for a spin this evening.
I did a fairly roudy down last night. Like 500mtr vert of double black roots and steep.I haven’t updated yet as I’m waiting to see if increased pedal kickback might be a consequence of the pretensioning.
Anyone experiencing such?
