Thanks for the update

Seems like a good option for splicing with a light cable.

Don't think Supernova ship to UK 🫤

eBike24 €200 minimum

Nanobike don't ship outside EU

Contact about UK shipping !?

Probably not the best option but has anyone considered hard wiring it to the motor? Could always resplice the connector back on if needed. Or even finding the proper pins so you don't need to buy two harnesses.

You could splice a different socket to the motor, say a Higo A ??
Dubious warranty support methinks !?

Yes, I was all set to do this, soldered & heatshrunk, possibly more reliable long-term and easier installation too. In my case I found a bosch cable and swaped the connector (M1 Higo-A)

Then I would think crimping pins and inserting them without having the new style connector would be an option.

Any guide or video how to build it?
Problem will be that different light cables require different connections. And different AXS power cables also use different colours and different polarity. So it's always going to come down to the user must verify the wire colours and polarity of both the SRAM AXS power cable and the Light Cable.

I have already made a post on how to verify the wire colours and polarity of the SRAM AXS power cable, and posted a picture.

When I have the M2S motor, I'll make the same post on how to verify the wire colours and polarity of the motor wires when you plug in the light cable and it's bare ends left free. Also with a photo.

You just need a multimeter and a 9V battery.

DJI is currently custom making these AXS extension cables and has essentially taken over production for Sram. I should have 30 of these soon. Hopefully they will arrive in time for our first batch of Teewing frames.

Hi there,

I just randomly purchased a cable to convert it to the z 405. Just realized after cutting, that it was already the right connector. Also the wiring seems correct. So they’re already out there.

So you randomly managed to get the mythical correct Amflow-SRAM cable ?
Where did it come from ?
Just have to join it back together again ...
More pictures 🖼️ please.

We need the photo of the cable bag that the AXS Power cable with Z405 connector, came in, not the light cable. And where you got it.

Also, I'm assuming one of those cables you are holding, has a battery clip on the other end ?

The blue one is the light cable - I have the same one from nanobike.de

I bought it on Buycycle.com from a private seller for 70€. Just ordered a second one. The blue one I got is the lightcable from nanobike. The black one on the left is the one from buycycle with the SRAM adapter attached.

EDIT: Got confused about the whole talk with the z 405 light cable. Just looked at the color black and figured it must be the wrong connector.

EDIT2: @Astro66 It came without a bag so I got no serial for it sorry
