That was my experince, app all updated but no 120nm option. Cleared cache/data for the app and logged back in then it prompted for the final update for 120nm.

Does anyone know how to calculate the assistance % with the slider? What is 400% and how to get 600%?
Or if i want my eMTB+ do only do 300%, where do i move slider too

Here you go:
Velomotion article on Performance 2.0 update describes it as:

"In Turbo mode, the setting "+0" corresponds to approximately 340 percent. At "+2," we hit the 400 percent mark exactly. Pushing the dial to "+5" brings us very close to the promised 600 percent on our test bench"

“Genius” update.
What worked for me:
1. Appstore didnt show flow update -> reinstalled and after that got the latest 1.35.5
2. After that 19.54 bike update is available. Update it.
3. Delete and install Flow again xD -> go to components, motor, get 2.0 banner in there, install.
Finally! You get 120 nm
Bosch can do better as for me…
This worked for me. Thank you. Although I’m leaving mine at 600wH and 85nm as it’s plenty enough. Weekend ride I found it more than enough but nice to have the option when legs are tired. 👍

No joy yet. I updated the app 30 hours ago, but the new adjustable features weren't available yet. I deleted and reinstalled the app, then re-paired the bike. I was pleased to find that my rides and settings were not lost. However, I still don't have the blue banner and the new adjustments.

Question for the CX4 crowd: without a watt or NM increase, what exactly is the 'increase assistance to 600%' doing? Isn't it just providing more assistance output for a lower given rider input?

Looks like the assistance used to be 400% for Gen4. So since the total wattage is still 600W, doesn't it simply mean a rider before would have had to input 150W to the cranks to access 400% assistance or 600W, where now they'll only have to put in 100W to access the same 600W motor power?
Yes, but the 600% is only until you reach 15km/h, then back to the "old" assistance %.
PossiblY up to 30km/h through flash --> hanven't update yet.

The good news:

1) "traction control" feeling, very useful!
2) Adjustable Extended Boost (overrun) on all modes, and the ability to set to your liking through flowapp
3) Garmin interface = now only on Edge, probably watches too?

Deleted app, reinstall from play store same app version again 1.34.7... Didn't work for me.
Same.

Again, Shitty roll out Bosch. If you say something is ready.... make it ready. Its not that hard. Update the apps in the the play stores before the update live date.

Yes, the Garmin integration is only available for the Edge xx40 and xx50 models. On those models you need to install the latest beta version from Garmin.

Support for additional Garmin models (watches) might be coming at a later time, but I doubt the xx30 models will get it.
Thanks for the info. I thought that was the case and ordered a new Garmin Edge MTB last night. I’ve been waiting for Garmin integration with Bosch since I purchased the bike. I had it on my Shimano and TQ bikes and have missed it since.

Took my upgraded Whyte out for a 30km XC-style ride today. I’m very pleased with the upgrade. Bike is clearly more responsive on techy climbs/terrain. I’m inclined to think that Bosch know what they are doing in balancing drivetrain wear vs top-end power etc. No complaints from me. Thank you Bosch!

Good Evening folks ,I've installed the update il
On my cube one77 I had to delete and re install the app to get the update

I'm more I tested in the "traction control" than the big torque figures.
Please could someone be as kind as to explain to me what modes I can have traction control on and why do they state specifically -2 dynamic ?
One other question
If I use auto does it go through the 3 modes I've selected edited in the list with those modified settings or does auto just decide for itself

I hope that makes sense ?
Thanks Tam

The usual Bosch drama—it's just ridiculous. I'm not even going to try—I don't want to get frustrated.

I have always taken rollout to mean an expanding availability not that it will be instantly available everywhere. Its just the same as the 100Nm update some people got it on the first day others 1 or more days later! It's already bad enough with people trying to hack the Flow app. to get things sooner, how bad do you think it would be if Bosch delivered parts of the update in advance of the release date.

I find it amusing. The Germans are so anal and organised. But can't seem to organise a piss up in a brewery its seems when it comes to updates.

In turbo, moving dynamic down to -2 allows for ‘traction control’. My experience is that it dulls the experience and bogs down pulling out of corners. I moved it back to +5 after feeling disappointed with how it rode on the trails I ride.
Auto is its own mode, but it does operate a little differently…can’t say much, as I only tried it for a couple of miles before finding it boring vs turbo.

Auto mode looks at your previous cadence and then applies the appropriate amount of assistance to keep you at that cadence.

Almost the opposite of how the other modes work.

It's really meant for commuting.

Thank you for taking the time to explain that .
I shall try EMTB + on a steep slippy slope at -2 then go all the other way to +5 and experiment 👍

Made a test ride today.
I usually ride in sport - with 120nm it appeared to be much easier to ride now.
In turbo/emtb/+ its difficult to feel, cause they already were overpowered, need more tests in difficult landscapes.
Extended boost in emtb and emtb+ is nice, some sort of old Gen4 overrun which I missed on Gen5. It really helps to avoid hitting obstacles with cranks in low situations, u just stop spinning and get a predictable “push forward”.

No need to uninstall/ reinstall the app.

You need the 1.35 version - STILL not available in the UK via google app store. WTF?

If you're in the uk just search "ebike flow app apk"

(After you've done that)

That will get you the update. It might not get the Torque update.

Go to your phone app settings/manage apps/ search for flow. click on storage/ click clear data.

Open the Flow app, log in, reconnect your bike and, if you're lucky you will see this:

Then this:

1777979304256.webp

and then this:

1777979304235.webp

For reference - my new bike arrived with 85nm and would not update to 100Nm. I had to contact the seller, Cube and Bosch to get confirmation if my bike could even get the 100Nm update. All confirmed it could, but I was advised to go to a local dealer!

No need for that now.

YAY!

First 20 (rainy) km with the update.
I am very surprised....very.😀 Traction and power at low and mid. speed is awesome. Really didn't expect this. So much more fun to drive. 👌

I am at a loss as to how to find and install the 120NM firmware update. Can anyone provide the link and instruction please? I have a Yeti Lte with the Kiox. Thanks!

Gen5 doesn't have/didn't have overun or Extended Boost?

Best thing Bosch did, when releasing eMTB+
