Giving it a go now after work…

App Store showed update to Flow App on iPhone (iOS 26.4.2) but installed 1.34.6. Reopened App Store selected Flow App again and it indicated 1.35.5 update.

No Performance update yet… *edit* no 2.0 performance update as of this morning yet either.

Looks like Bosch pulled the update for Euro owners due to too many owners de restricting to the US version, or something like that.
Where do you get info like that? That is really quick to pull an update for that specific reason. I could understand if it was because the update process was very unintuitive.

That’s a fake message on the Bosch owners Facebook page.

The update don’t seem too revolutionary to me.

Although maybe I was pushing too hard chasing speed and power - currently sat in A&E at almost 3am due to coming off my bike.

all useless things are needed things, that's it!

I haven't been able to do the update yet but it's not a big deal to me. It'll probably straighten itself out in the next few days.

However when I was digging around in the Flow App I noticed that I could just change the wheel circumference.
Can the top speed be increased by a few mph/ kph utilizing this slider?
Thanks.

I quickly read it, but didn’t look into much or give it a second thought.

Cube EXC 800 one44 , android

updated app, updated motor

cleared cache and stockage before returning in the app

torque slider is here, can't test as it's the night, but from 100 to 120nm lost 1 km in autonomy

found 1.35.6 flow app on internet with apk, only 1.34 in google/android playstore

That’s about a 10% delta in speed from min to max on scale… but it’ll only “help” if you set the circumference smaller than reality.

I was able to update the Flow app by deleting and reinstalling and also managed to update my CX4. I am still not getting my bike to communicate with my Garmin. My Garmin is a 1030. Is the issue that my Garmin is a 1030? Do I need a newer model?

this update is going slowly but surely, the benefit is 90% psychological and 10% real 😆
Yepp. Not a big difference, as expected...but noticeable.
..
🫠 But i'm really surpised the volspeed tuning box still works with the this update.🥳

“Genius” update.
What worked for me:
1. Appstore didnt show flow update -> reinstalled and after that got the latest 1.35.5
2. After that 19.54 bike update is available. Update it.
3. Delete and install Flow again xD -> go to components, motor, get 2.0 banner in there, install.
Finally! You get 120 nm
Bosch can do better as for me…
This worked for me on my Santa Cruz!

Same thing happened last time, updates available sooner for some mobiles than others, some bikes sooner than others.

No need to stress, it'll come 😬
(Fyi; no update on my pixel 9a for the app or transition regulator cx)

Got the 120nm update just now after reinstalling the flow app, I was hoping to be able to adjust the overrun but I suppose that comes later.

Question for the CX4 crowd: without a watt or NM increase, what exactly is the 'increase assistance to 600%' doing? Isn't it just providing more assistance output for a lower given rider input?

Looks like the assistance used to be 400% for Gen4. So since the total wattage is still 600W, doesn't it simply mean a rider before would have had to input 150W to the cranks to access 400% assistance or 600W, where now they'll only have to put in 100W to access the same 600W motor power?

Seems to me that since max speed isn't determined by GPS, then it can only be by rear wheel roll out (circumference) multiplied by RPM as recorded by the rim magnets sensor. So with this 10% circumference setting range there should be about 10% range in speed, with 20mph being the targeted cut off, which could be from 18-20, through 20-22?
It would be just like changing the tires on your car or truck to a smaller or larger diameter/circumference, and causing inaccurate speedometer readings.

Unfortunately changing this setting in the Flow app does not make any change to the actual speed of the bike, this only changes the reading on the speedometer. There is/was discussion about this in the derestricting section before.

There are two records for the wheel size. One is configurable in the app and only ensures the speedo is accurate if for example you did change wheel size.

The other is only configurable in the Bosch Diagnostic tool, this one changes the speed the bike thinks it is going and reducing the wheel size here does impact the real speed limit of the bike. Smaller circum setting here makes the bike think it is going slower than it actually is, and therefore allows for assistance at higher speed as bike still thinks it's within set speed.

I found this confusing when reading about it before, until someone posted a screenshot showing the two values in the diag software.

Found the thread here:

That is incorrect! The circumference setting in the Flow app. is merely to allow the display speed to be accurately set. The real circumference setting is fixed in the firmware so if the tires are replaced with different sized ones which will change the speed slightly it is still possible to correct the speed shown in the display.

Yes, the Garmin integration is only available for the Edge xx40 and xx50 models. On those models you need to install the latest beta version from Garmin.

Support for additional Garmin models (watches) might be coming at a later time, but I doubt the xx30 models will get it.

For those who are still waiting for the 120 Nm to appear in the Flow app

A number of experiments showed that it is sufficient to delete the bike from the Flow app after the initial upgrade of Flow and update of the bike firmware.

After deleting the bike and then adding it back into the Flow app a second Performance 2.0 update will show. This takes only 15 seconds to install and, surprise the 120 Nm show up in all riding modes.

I'm not in any hurry so is/will the second Performance 2.0 update show up at some later time after the ver. 1.35 Flow app update?

Downloaded both the updated Flow app and the Updated motor software. It says it's been updated succesfully but still not showing 120nm available. Anyone got that and later the 120nm option showed up? I read somewhere that it can take up to 24h

Flow app is 1.35.5
Motor software is 19.54
