Got a second ride in yesterday. After my first ride I did a bolt check on everything, adjusted suspension, and down-tuned some of the power settings a little bit. We've got some early season hero dirt out here right now, and I was having a blast ripping corners all afternoon. :whistle:

I don't think my boost mode is working correctly after enabling it. It feels like it drops to eco mode when I activate it. I did a quick look though the settings but everything seemed normal, anyone else tried it yet?

Long time rider, first time poster. My daily driver is a Gen 3 Levo and I also built up a Kenevo SL with a Fox 40 as an EDH rig. Retired the Kenevo SL and moved the 40 to my Crestline. A couple shakedown rides last weekend, hoping to get out of work for some weekday laps. Almost done, just waiting on a new I9 wheelset.

Tried out Boost mode a few times and it definitely has way less power than turbo. Checked my settings and looks like it should deliver more power, but it does not. I'm guessing we don't have it correctly set up.

I thought it would just be max power when it's activated. There isn't really any setting to adjust like the other modes. I tried with with and without local enhancment.

That sounds odd, I can’t speak on the m2 motors but my m1 has a noticeable jump in power when I activate boost. Really can’t imagine that would be different on the m2’s
 
Build is mostly complete, just dropped her off for the ridewrap install. Found a good deal from a reputable installer that will have it done by tomorrow so I guess I can wait one more day for Plaid magic..

NOTE: CRITICAL INSTALLATION TIP

Bike shop told me Troydon said to ensure the all frame rear shock mounts get some thread lock going as a crucial step of the build. If this bolt comes loose the rear of the frame could get damaged:

Technical Climbing​

Mode Selection: Utilize Boost Mode on the Avinox system.
  • Technique: Maintain a high cadence (90-100 RPM). The FOC algorithm favors high RPM for thermal efficiency. Use the "Ratcheting"technique (partial pedal strokes) to clear technical rock steps; the motor's instant engagement will propel the bike over obstacles without a full pedal revolution.

I thought I read/heard somewhere that the power of boost mode is dependent upon which mode you are currently riding in?

5 Oaks, nice! Can’t wait to finish my build and take it there. I’m usually there 2 or 3 times a month.
 
Question for people who have ride wrapped. Did you remove the motor, the shock…etc? Wondering if it’s worth it to do a full disassembly to wrap it.
 
I just started my ridewrap last night and the raw carbon makes it both harder to ensure bubbles are out, and easier to hide bubbles! It's a catch 22 but i am going to be glad to be done. It's not that hard if any of you are on the fence, the directions for the spray mixture make it pretty easy

you don't need to remove anything but there were two spots that could be easier if you did. There's one spot where it would be easier to press the edge down if you were able to lift the rear triangle (by removing the shock) and the other spot behind the chainring.
 
If your ride wrap has a big open rectangle area on middle of the downtube, you can contact ride wrap they will send you a new downtube piece with that spot not cut out. They originally used a sample bike with a shuttle guard not realizing that the bikes would be shipped without one.

Ya, this will be my third time doing ride wrap. First time looked like shit because I could not see the bubbles and didn’t know how bad they would look.

I need really good lighting or I’ll miss them.

Really all the high end e-bikes with 600 wh batteries come in between 48 - 50 lb depending on build (DH tires mainly) ready to ride.
And the ones with 800 watt batteries all come in about 50- 52 lbs.
If you've got a high pivot you can add about 1 lb for that.
If you have a cheap build you can add another 1-2 lb to any of these.
If you do a trail build with 36mm fork, trail wheels, small rotors, Float X, shorter dropper, etc. you can knock off about 2-3 #s. Aka Amflow.
Once you add the needed bashguard to the Avinox, it weighs the same as the Bosch.
Really the weights are not as dependent on the bike manufacturers as you would think. The CF frames are all within about 1# of each other.
