Yeah, you really don't need brake sensor.. the new bafang motors don't need brake sensors unlike the BBSO2...You can put a switch in the hydrailic brake line. Magura makes them. That is clean and can be mounted anywhere (in the brake line, F+R)
Is it really necessary?

My frame is apparently waiting for customs clearance etc so will hopefully be able to give an update soon. Size Large, V3.
Does anyone know what they are doing to accommodate the larger shocks?Just measured my (2025?) Float X. Measures 54.4mm. Hope it fits. Jean seems to be sure it will.

1st November. I waited quite a while for the m510 RS motor to be available and also went for seafreight. Regular freight to South Africa was ridiculously expensive. When did you order ? I’m still waiting on mine.
Can you do a review on the M510 and how the speed sensor reacts with the motor. It seems like the release date for these has been pushed.1st November. Customs is cleared, now waiting for the delivery to happen.
This is the same issue on mine and personally I wouldn't grind it out just in case it affects the integrity of the frame it may be fine but if rather not risk it.I'm have the same problem with fitting the X2 (205/65) to the frame.
There's a gap the width of a hair.
Where it meets, here's a pointed bulge in the frame.
I'm thinking about grinding this pinted bulge1 mm more gap would improve the situation.
Do you think this is a bad idea?

With your rockshox shock or something with a bigger body? Its a clean looking build looks niceThis is the same issue on mine and personally I wouldn't grind it out just in case it affects the integrity of the frame it may be fine but if rather not risk it.
It's was with a fox float x2 factory. The rockshox fits perfect. And thanks man I'm pleased with how it turned outYeah grinding your frame is the last thing i would think of

Looks great! I just received completion pics of my chameleon CEF69. After seeing yours I'm more confident in my choice of gold accents although I may have went to far and ended up with multiple shades of gold. Unfortunately its still going to be a while as its shipping by sea.Check out my cef69 build guys, what do you think

Its really just the Spank stem that is the worst match. I think I might just bite the bullet and buy the Raceface Kashmoney stem like I was going to originally before cheaping out.Nice dude I don't think you've overdone it on the gold I plan to add a few more and eventually kashima coated fox suspension and dropper I think the purple and gold go together really well
Is this the updated linkage discussed? This linkage and the red frame on Charly's post looks different. I noticed that the bikes that Artesana used with the Ohlins TTX had this similar looking linkage.I'm have the same problem with fitting the X2 (205/65) to the frame.

I was wondering the same thing. Going back through to the first few pages of this thread both types are visible so I don't think that is what identifies the updated part?? My build picture(just got today) shows the solid style and I've been waiting for 30+ days to ship after asking them specifically about running a Float X2. I assumed My large frame was waiting on the updated linkage to ship.Is this the updated linkage discussed? This linkage and the red frame on Charly's post looks different. You are right, Charly had a few pics with that hollow linkage, jumped the gun there, just didn't see anyone else receive it. On the other hand, I also noticed in your picture, the curvature around the bolt where the yoke attaches to the rocker is facing towards the back. That part looks different, I wonder if that is the update? Possibly positioning the yoke plus shock lower?I was wondering the same thing. Is it possible to order the updated linkage if we already have a frame?Let's be honest: when we designed it, we didn't actually consider the problem of fitting this oversized shock absorber to the frame. The company's design team is currently working on a solution. Before official mass production begins, if any rider needs this shock absorber, please inform our sales staff in advance. We will handle special orders with special attention.
