Well same as mine. Check video of mine with motor on the trail. But be aware when the motor is installed in a frame the noise is amplified and is even worse. Really on a ride people will turn to you for sure. I've opened it up and greased everything and it helped little bit. But still noisy especially in higher RPMs. Let's say up to 60 it's fine. Up to 70 tolerable and above the "fun" begins. At that point you want to gear up to lower cadencies because you want to get rid of a noise. But uphill the motor is not that performant in lower cadencies so there is no win situation. It's not like the noise of gears, yes it's there - some mechanical noise of spinning gears but this is not that bad. Problem is that high pitched noise created probably by the rotor spinning very fast transferring into motor cage and then up to the frame.
Just returned from a ride and yes, I guess it was better this time but still far away from the noise of my Bosch gen. 4. It can't be even compared. At least there is no power surge and power delivery on climbing is stable. With this I'm fine. The noise I consider the only issue. It was pretty windy today so the noise blended with environment

But on a trail in the night oh man... poor wild animals
That's true but with Bosch you don't need any customization. Everything works there out of a box. Support is great, regular firmware updates, all is simply working out of the box. The only thing I would do is not unlock it to 45kmh and that's all I need.
A good decision. No good bike manufacturer will install bafang in their bikes and they have a reason for that. People would kill them. I would never buy bafang but I wanted to try E82 frameset and this was the only option. And yeah, it's disappointment. They do many motor and in the end is +/- the same. Some more power some less power. But they have one thing common. They are all noisy, very noisy.
Maybe but other manufacturers are now miles ahead of bafang. That's reality. You can put lot of bullshit on a paper trust me. I can say that my Bosch gen. 4 is in turbo mode same if not more powerful than M600. And look at specs...
