I thought this bolt was not suppose to be tight and there was not supposed to be any movement?Check the rear shock mount if it's too tight it will creak under pedaling and it sounds like it's coming from the motor.
After hunting creaks for a couple weeks this was the cause of the worst of them.... Especially when putting side to side tension on the frame (pedalling and or steering)I thought this bolt was not suppose to be tight and there was not supposed to be any movement?

Even at 14nm as printed on the bolt it creaks. I've greased, used a touch of blue loctite and torqued it light and now the creaks have gone.
I have tired lube on contact areas and loctite on the treads and 14Nm also that's the way the bike was delivered with plenty of grease but it keeps creaking when bike is twisting.I've seen Jordi Cortez say that shocks should be allowed some lateral movement... The shock needs to be able to rotate in the yoke.
Tightening down too much doesn't make sense. Locking the bolt in without cranking it down seems ideal.
I feel your pain, I had this exact thing last week and gave up on a ride 5min into it because of the noise.I have tired lube on contact areas and loctite on the treads and 14Nm also that's the way the bike was delivered with plenty of grease but it keeps creaking when bike is twisting.
Also sounds terrible when I stand beside the bike and push on left and right side on the paddles.
When I hold my hand on the area I can clearly feel it's the spot it comes from.
And I hate it![]()
Yes it totaly destroy the ride listening to sound like this. Thanks for the adviceI feel your pain, I had this exact thing last week and gave up on a ride 5min into it because of the noise.
Listening the shock bolt in the yoke to ~10nm did the trick. Then I put the paint dots to keep an eye on it in case it came loose.
The next day I did a 3hr ride with varied "Canadian Rockies" terrain and it didn't budge and stayed quiet.
I wonder if the reason sound ends when leaving the bolt a little looser and maybe also when the bolt is super tight and zero movement is that the sounds come from the contact areas slipping from each other and if they are free to move there won't be any sound but also if there is zero movement it should also be silent.I feel your pain, I had this exact thing last week and gave up on a ride 5min into it because of the noise.

I had a hellish time getting mine updated to unlock 100Nm. Went round and round with Bosch/Cube and 99 Bikes (main retailer in Australia) for over a month. After a lot of misinformation and hearsay the best explanation was the serial numbers for the Cube bikes that came out of Asia (and maybe others?) were fouled up by Cube in Bosch's system and set to a mode which requires manufacturer approval before the 100Nm update unlocks. What this meant was I first had to visit my retailer for them to submit a "change request" through the Cube/Bosch portal, then return about 2 weeks later once the request was approved to allow them to unlock the 100Nm. Was told the app would "never work" to unlock the 100Nm when the bikes records were in this configuration with Cube/Bosch. How this could just not get fixed via records manipulation I have no idea.Anyone here besides me who still not have full 100Nm uppdate?
Bike: one44 hybrid sterio AT 2025
I took delivery of bike July 18 and still have not got 100Nm awable. I have tried following.
* 3 different phones.
* reinstalling the app many times
* tried almost every day go uppdate.
* two different dealers have tried using bosch computer and bike has latest awable sw.
Bike came new with 750w and emtb+ mode but I have still only 85Nm.
Both cube and bosch answers that I should try again on 2-3 days and now they don't answer anymore on emails.
Thanks for all advises.
It´s a 2 step upgrade. I´ve strugled some time with my one77 also and I don´t know if the option was already available from the 1st day. I understand it latter. First we have to do the bike firmware update (with the lateste flow app version) , then u have to return to app , enter again bike update and select the option to install the power upgrade.Anyone here besides me who still not have full 100Nm uppdate?

You’ve probably tried it and it worked for me, but have you tried uninstalling the Flow app and then reinstalling it to get the torque update?Yeah I have tried all that many times,
I think it's something that's done incorrectly from when the bike was assambled and registered and that's the reason the software is not accuring in app.
Before the dealer delivered the bike the frame was swapped becouse of something found in delivery inspection,
Yes on 3 different phones both android and AppleYou’ve probably tried it and it worked for me, but have you tried uninstalling the Flow app and then reinstalling it to get the torque update?
The place I got my bike is in the process of sorting it out. It's Les's Cycles in Essex.Definitely, out of curiosity I wonder if the dealership did the bolt replacement recall, I will find out when I dig into it this week.

In short it was a complete mess and have formally complained to all parties as no other brand seemed to suffer this problem. Made it very clear to Cube/99 Bikes that all their recent "In Flow app", "Ready for 100Nm" marketing was disingenuous.
Worth it though - the new more aggressive overrun is awesome.
Sounds plausible. My situation was (eventually) completely confirmed by Bosch and 99 (Cube were fairly useless). Was never going to appear in Flow app, despite Cube saying to "wait a few days". I watched them do it in store in the portal. A similar message comes up, worded like the 2nd stage of a Flow app upgrade everyone else got. Staff were as curious as I was! It's all Bosch's system, Cube just input data into it and skin it with their logo/bikes.Well to start with thank you for long message.
And I think you are on to something, before bike was delivered to me when they checked it before sending it they found that the frame was damaged and I had to wait for 6 more weeks before delivery. Now after the message you sent me I asked them if they think it can have with the frame exchange to do and they asked me to check frame number and it don't match the invoice I've got from the store so maybe engine and frame is not matching the numbers they sent to bosch to release the 100Nm update. It's a long shot but biggest leap forward sense middle of July for me so big thanks to you!
would like to try the ABS to see how 'different' it isInteresting twist with the AT models too. They retain the Fox Factory suspension and Schwalbe tyres but, the Kiox 400c display replaces Purion 400, SRAM XO T-Type transmission replaced by Shimano XT Di2 (no mention of auto shift, but should be possible reading Bosch’s stuff on this), and Bosch ABS Pro added to the XT brakes. Given the price is the same, that’s an even more amazing package.
Probably only marginal differences. The addition of ABS on the other hand should be very useful, especially in the race mode that allows the rear wheel to lift; should make enduro turns easier/safer.Are the new XT brakes worth it over the old ones?
again, Interesting to note that on the 2026 bikes, Cube's still using the adapter plate for the new Kiox 400c!
It is possible that the difference in the plates appearance is the angle of the photos
