I've ridden there too. (A long time ago) Used to live just up the road in Lochwinnock wi aw the knuckledraggin Rangers bams.
Local XC riding back then was Muirsheil, the woods/hills around Lochwinnoch and Howwood. Occasionally down to Largs or off road all the way up towards Bridge O Weir/Kilmacolm
