This is not a reflection of the bike itself, but rather my experience dealing directly with AmFlow.
At the beginning of May, I decided to order a PX Pro directly from the AmFlow website because there were none available in stores anywhere in Australia. At the time, the website showed an expected delivery timeframe of approximately six weeks. Interestingly, that estimate still appears to remain at around six weeks no matter when you check (see attached screenshot).
Two weeks after paying AmFlow the full purchase price of approximately $14,000 AUD, I managed to find a dealer who had a PX Pro available in my size who was happy to send me the bike while my APPROVED refund went through the normal process. I immediately requested a refund through the AmFlow website. Within 30 minutes, my order status was changed to “Refund Processed”, with a note stating that refunds could take 7–14 business days to appear.
I waited the full 14 business days, but no refund arrived. I then began corresponding with AmFlow support. Initially, I was repeatedly advised to contact my bank because the delay was supposedly on my side. After another week, AmFlow acknowledged that an internal system issue had prevented the original refund from being processed.
For the past three weeks, AmFlow has continued to advise that the refund has been processed, yet the funds still have not appeared in my account.
My concern is simple: I paid $14,000 for a bike that I never received, and more than a month after requesting a refund, I am still waiting for my money to be returned.
Based on my experience, I would recommend waiting until stock is available through a local bike shop rather than ordering directly from the AmFlow website. I have purchased other high-end bikes directly from manufacturers in the past without any issues, so this has been a disappointing experience.
I want to stress that this post is not about the bike itself. My experience with the PX Pro purchased through a dealer has been excellent. This post is solely about the refund process and customer service experience I have encountered when ordering directly from AmFlow.
Hopefully this information helps others make an informed decision
