Perhaps"odd" question but hey ho.
I've just bought a Specialized Turbo Levo fsr Carbon Comp. Taking front wheel off it fits fine in my 4x4. Just wondering for those who transport like this, what do you put on the floor? (I used a blanket that was in car but wondered about other ideas).

I have a boot liner in the boot and a sheet over the folded down backseat. The car inevitably gets wheel marks on the back of the front seats and door cards, but it cleans off. If I'm putting more than one in I put blankets between the bikes, most important is protecting the shock and fork stanchions. Never bother to take a wheel off though, I just put it in whole.

I bought a roll of rubber matting from ebay and it's perfect
It was only around £20 although it does stink at first but the smell does eventually wear off

I done the same and laughed when you mentioned the smell because it does indeed stink! ?
