Totally depends on what you ride, of course. Taller fork will shift the weight back and be better for downhill. Shorter fork will shift the weight forward and be better for a trail rider. Does not matter whether you are going to use 27.5 or 29. Mullet and you will shift the weight back good for going down not so good for going up. Simple. Pays your money and make your choice.

My cef50 with fox factory 38 is mullet….i already had this mullet set from another frame 29x30 maxxis dhf 2.5 - 27.5x35 maxxis dhr 2.6….i don’t feel front wheel very comunicative so i bought a mavic e-deemax s 29-29 wheelset (s model is without tubeless tape) in this configuration maxxis assegai 2.5 - maxxis dhr 2.4 but i haven’t tryed yet
