SZZS specific CEF50-main thread (initial builds and troubleshooting related only)

This looks like it might be the bottom headset fitting.

Got some answers from Linda.
1. Bafang BT F100.B360 360wh battery is available
2. Frames does have ports for wired derailleur
3. Rear thru axles is 12x 1.5 x 179
4. Engineer does not recommend a 140mm fork, but I am going to use it anyway.
The engineer told me that you can use a 140mm fork and a 27.5 rear wheel. Our steering angle will be 64.5-65 degrees. This frame has a BB Height of 360 mm. Then you will get a BB Height of 330 mm. This is normal with 160 mm levers. You can disassemble the rear shock absorber 210x55 or 210x50 and reduce the stroke to 210x47,5 or 210x45. Then the stroke of the rear suspension will be 135-140 mm.

Just repeating what I was told.
"
5. About front front travel, our engineer suggest if use some fork , it will change a little of the geometry, but it will affect the fork safety. personally I do not recommend.

I forgot to comment that the assist switches are associated with their matching display so she is correct that you can't use the DPC245 remote switch with the built in top tube thing. The switches are not smart only the display/controllers.

If so that sucks! 😜 However, I will try and buy one for my M600 and then test the DPC245 out with M820 system for compatibility. Always "trust but verify" independently. 😆

Anna at Greenbikekit says the DPC245 will be available next month....but she said that last month too. So?😴

Well the DPC245 will work in tandem with the top rube display you just can't use the DPC245 remote without the DPC245 display. Make sense?

Oh, ok cool! I see now after re-reading it. Yes, like M500/600 DPC241, the DPC245 display and remote switch are hardwired together...as I said I want that color display. The B/W display sucks, but better than nothing...💪

I will receive the M820 motor on March 15 and DPC245 and a sensor for the SENSOR SR SD071.02 rotor.

I just made an inquiry about a XL frame. I haven't found any other Chinese e-Bike frames with the reach I'd like but this one could fit the bill.
I saw Suntour has a deal going where you can get a free Tri-air2 shock with a Auron or Durolux fork purchase. Hard to beat deal if you need both. DUROLUX36 EQ BOOST RC2 15QLC 29

Rockshox does not make 8x22 mounting hardware. They make 8x20 and 8x22.2. Why did you change your post to M8x22 from M8x20?

So the question is how much smaller than the actual measurement?

they sent me those same pictures. So I posed a very specific followup question as to what size bushing to buy. They checked and engineers said 22mm. You can see on those pictures, the opening is 22.2mm and bushing size is 22mm. Guess they factor in tightening?

Quick search I see locally can get Cane Creek in that size. Or if you can wait for the slow boat from China, Aliexpress has them cheap: 2.63£ 6% OFF|Shock Absorber Bicycle Mtb | Bicyxle Shock Bushing - Mtb Rear Shock Bushing Bike - Aliexpress

For my RS Ultimate MegNeg shock. I'm doing it for both upper/lower eyelets.🍻

that's 22.2mm. You need 22mm (according to their engineers). Looks like they have them in 22: RockShox Rear Shock Mounting Hardware - 3-Piece, 1/2", 8 x 22.0

Just FYI. One small hiccup for the big 720Wh battery...delayed a few weeks.😵‍💫

Compare: only slight differences in frame design.

Honestly, I think the LC looks a little more proportional to me. I know the CEF50'S downtube is bigger to accommodate the beefier big 720 Wh battery. But I'm still purchasing it and then see if I can trim it down like the Transition Relay slimming paint job. But we'll see.🍻

YA but... did you notice the description in tiny print is for a different product? I bought it anyway and invoice is correct so hope I get the right thing.
