Sram NX Eagle.

Hi all ebikes out there, need some help. Just bought the new Sram NX Eagle as an up grade for my Focus Bold2 29er which is running the 10 speed shimano xt. After being told it will all fit apart from the the crank apparently I need an XD driver so the 12 speed cassette will fit the wheel, Race Face AR30 I think. Anybody know where to buy one from or is there another brand which will fit?.. Thanks for any help or advice..

Are you sure you got a NX cassette? The PG1230 is designed to be used with a regular (Shimano) freehub body. you can check it here:SRAM PG1230

Very True!! I made the mistake of thinking the NX cassette would fit an XD driver. If you already have a Shimano freehub, the NX cassette should slip straight on

Thanks for the help guys, my bike must have had the free hub as the Sram cassette slipped straight on with no problems.. My bike shop, Cycle Route Downend Bristol are very good and highly recommend.. I'll post some pics as I love the look now and the way it rides.. Again thanks

Be carefull with the big chain ring in the back, i have seen quite a few people who are not hear shift kind break a tooth off the aluminum big chain ring.
I also have one on my old bike and it broke a tooth off the 5th chain ring.
I have 4 of them here with less then 130 miles all with broken teeth. But my personal bike never had an issue.

Thanks Tim, I don't think my cassette is an alloy one I thinks it's pressed steel as its the entry level Sram so I'm hoping I won't have a problem but I'll keep a heck on it..

No, I changed up from the Shimano XT 10 speed xt to the new NX 12 speed..

The NX cassette is steel all the way up. GX has alloy on the granny gears

That's what I thought, the NX cassette is all steel so it shouldn't be a problem with broken teeth..
