SRAM Eagle NX (12 speed) to upgrade or not?

Hi all.

I Had a nightmare of a ride yesterday. Two punctures and my rear mech somehow made it into my spokes and badly bent about three of them. The rear mech is also mangled - the jockey wheels are both at severely different angles to each other.

If my LBS can fix it thats great but if a new mech is required should I just replace like for like or is this an opportunity to upgrade and if so to what? Is the GX worth the extra ££?

If you go to a GX cassette you will also need to change out the hub driver. NX uses a regular splined hub, GX uses an XD driver.

Sorry misread, it’s the mech you were asking about.
GX mech and shifter has a much better feel than NX to me. The difference being greater than between GX and X01.
