How much does it weight?Had my first decent spin with the new S-Works frameset build. The power is truly incredible, and can get you in as much trouble or fun as you want

see you're also a saffa - I ride in the western capewhat happened ?
and where you riding ?
Ok, the fork and Genie I can understand. The cutting out is an issue, and lets hope the motor clunk is a once off.see you're also a saffa - I ride in the western cape
It started with losing power randomly like lots of others have experienced, which we thought was the battery nest issue which is well known. I then started noticing that the motor would cut on a climb when the rear of the bike hit a rut or got a jolt which would suggest perhaps a loose connection.
I then started noticing the motor wasn't as quiet anymore and started getting the "ebike motor clunk" sound that you usually get with all other motors. ie - gear or clutch rattle when disengaged
Then, on climbs my motor would make a distinct CLUNK sound and the power would cut randomly causing a sudden stall.
turn around for a new motor was 48 hours, should be getting it back today..... I'm quite annoyed to say the least. Especially with all the new DJI bikes out, and new parts on the bikes. I feel a little robbed by Spez.
Other than that - my fork seals were bone dry from new, I have already replaced the genie shock due to cavitation.
It's a well known fact that the Gen 4 sat in warehouse for a VERY long time before release for numerous reasons.
Feels like a lemon purchase.

the bike will do just fine at conties and rhinos. I ride primarliy helderberg and jonkers so the bike takes some hits.Ok, the fork and Genie I can understand. The cutting out is an issue, and lets hope the motor clunk is a once off.
I also get how you feel about being robbed, for me more like ripped one. With the Bosch getting free updates to more power and a "premium brand" still stuck behind with a new model. (Im sure the 101/666 (im common folk) is way more than I need, but 101/750 would be better ... even 105/750 to keep up with what's happening at eurobike for the poor mans version.
How does it handle things like the Contemans DH and rhinos ? that's kind of my bread and butter ride.
And have you tried the Class 1 setting on bloemendaler ? that is the only place I would see myself using it to clear those long doubles.

Yes, I went 170 as I found a great deal on it, ran my past Gen1 SL with 160 so I felt pretty safe with this bumpDid you use 170 mm fork?

I ordered thru my local Specialized retailer LBS, in FL, on order since April as well I think. Hang in there man I spent ages waiting too. I had my shop push em a few times FWIWNice build. When did you order/receive your S works framset and are you in USA?
I have had my Sworks s3 frame on order since April release, and still have not received any info. from Dealer in Reno, NV as to delivery date
Just went out with my home scale and measured BW+bike, so not the most accurate approach… but looking at 55.2 lbs.How much does it weight?

I also feel a bit robbed by Spesh. I feel like the majority of folks that are having issues are the S-Works owners. Seems insane that Spesh didn't sort these issues out before selling a $14,000 USD e-bike.
As salty as I am, I still love this bike (when it's working).
How does it feel set up as 170mm up front? Are you in the high or low geo setting, short or long chain stay position? I just ordered a 170mm air spring for my 38. I was having some recent pedal strikes in the low geo setting, so I'm looking forward to a slightly higher BB with the 170 set up.
No.Anyone know, if the Levo supports Coast shifting with AXS Transmission?
Speaking of the SRAM Transmission, has anyone been having issues with their SRAM XX Eagle Transmission? I have had the rear Derailleur replaced and it still can't seem to hold a gear. I literally took it on yesterday and after 4miles of road to the trail and 1 mile of dirt it started skipping. I have literally had more skipping / no shifts on this bike in a single day then I have on my other bikes in a year. Crazy... but at this point electronic shifting seems like garbage.Anyone know, if the Levo supports Coast shifting with AXS Transmission?
Use the app and dial it in. It works flawlessly for me and I ride a lot. I love it.Speaking of the SRAM Transmission, has anyone been having issues with their SRAM XX Eagle Transmission? Ya... tried that / LBS tried that / SRAM rep tried that / new hanger and still not finding gearsUse the app and dial it in. It works flawlessly for me and I ride a lot. I love it.
Really? I'm running similar psi and haven't bottomed out, yet I weigh 100kgWhat pressures are people running in the Genie?
I am 84kg and with 245psi still bottoming out.
Gonna try a Blue bottom out spacer and see how it goes.
Yep, definitely.Really? I'm running similar psi and haven't bottomed out, yet I weigh 100kg
I'm 93kg and running 285psi as per Specialized recommendations and its perfect and never bottoms out on decent jumps and drop-offs. I would let out and re-pressurise the shock in 50psi steps, cycling the shock through its travel at each step to make sure you have the correct balance between the positive and negative air chambers. If that doesn't fix it, get it back to your dealer cos one of the main features of the Genie is it shouldn't bottom out !Yep, definitely.
Was the hanger and then the new one was set in to the A position and not B. Seem to be working right now.If you have a hanger....its not SRAM Transmission
You could save even more power. When tuning convention of the gen4 (AA/BB), the A represents "Ease "of access to power (how hard you have to pedal to access the motor power), and the BB represents motor power (so 100 = 100% of power), if you tune the bike down to some like 25/25 or lower it use even less power. At 20/100 you still had access to 100% of the bikes power, you just needed to pedal harder to access it all.I rented and rode the gen4 Levo Pro. My current bike is a gen3 alloy comp (though has no unupdated parts).
" I did the majority of my ride in 20/100 dynamic microtune mode. "
