Spear & Jackson Portable washer. Is it any good?

So to cut a long story short, its starting to get boring whipping out the bucket and sponge after each muddy ride (dont get me wrong, this method has probably been the sole reason why I haven't encountered battery and motor issues).
I find myself evaluating whether I should look into alternative cleaning methods. I do own a Karcher pressure washer with numerous hoses but I could never bring myself to use it on my bikes (mtb and emtb).
Has anyone tried the Spear & Jackson portable washer?
Or, is it best to stick to what you know and rinse, scrub, wipe, repeat.
